Rosewill 12" Fan power supply cable Model RCW-309

Pros: Used this to extend the fan connection on my case door. Worked great for that purpose. Good build quality.

Pros: This product works exactly as intended, and solved a serious headache for me. The 140mm fans on the door of my case had extremely short wires, which barely reached the connectors on the motherboard. These wires do the trick, and make opening the case much less of hassle! Plus, if I accidentally pull the door too far away, these serve as a breakaway cable and I don't have to struggle with getting the connector seated on the motherboard right next to the graphics card and sound card. The UV reactive tubing is fun if you have UV lighting in the case.

Other Thoughts: Using the mobo connectors with these extension wires instead of an adapter from a 4-pin molex connector is desirable because the motherboard can manage the fan speed based upon load and internal temps.

Pros: Cables working great as advertised.

Cons: No problems.

Pros: It actually has wire in it. That's it. Other than that, the entire product description is wrong.

Cons: The cables I got are barely 10 inches. If you wanted it to be 12 inches to reach, it won't. Furthermore, it is not UV reactive in the slightest. I tried this under a large 60watt UV bulb and it does not even have the faintest glow whatsoever. Every other UV component I have does glow. Therefore, these cables do not meet either of the two reasons I purchased them for. They are useless.

0 out of 4 cables are 12 inches. 0 out of 4 cables are UV reactive. Rosewill is 0 out of 10 for each wire I have purchased from them so far. I will NOT buy any more Rosewill.

Other Thoughts: If you want a 12 inch cable, you won't find that here. If you want UV reactive, its not. This product therefore is not even close to the product in the description. I am very disappointed.

Pros: It is a nice sized extension and it works!

Cons: it is in an ugly blue color

Pros: extends fan cable.

Cons: bought 6 of these, 2 of them quit working. Probably caused by excessive bending, moving, and tugging; tghus, making it my own fault.

Other Thoughts: I think I still have a few of these in the original packaging, so it's not a huge deal that a few didn't work. One worked for a while, then just stopped; it's replacement didn't work from the beginning. I ended up extending the fan cable with a longer cable that came with one of the fans I purchased. The one or two of them that are still in my rig do still work. I could probably just fix the ones that quit, I'd assume broken solders or wires would be the culprit.

Other Thoughts: Well, it's a cable. It works or it doesn't, and this one does!
