Pros: This cable is a Cat6 and I got it on sale for a steal of $1 off the regular price.

It is the perfect length for many applications. Your basic black which is a good choice of color for an all around R45 cable. You can't go wrong even at full price.

The connections are a nice tight "click" fit. Buy one or more. You will only regret you didn't get it on sale.

Cons: The protective boot on the connector is a short term hassle. Only as long as it takes me to cut it off. Other than that no cons.

Other Thoughts: For those complaining about the protective boots simply get out a pair of scissors and remove them.

I am kicking myself for not buying a couple more when they were $1.49 with FREE shipping.

Pros: This cable will connect any of your Ethernet ports to a device with an Ethernet port as well

Other Thoughts: ordered this and by time UPS figured out what the Apt. A in my address means my wife had rearranged the furniture and refund time had passed. so now it's 3" too short, teaches me for ordering a cable to length instead of getting an extra 8'.

Pros: It works as advertised. My throughput went from 11.5 megabytes per second with gigabyte sized files, to 65-89 megabytes per second! Money well spent!

Pros: These cables work great, usually. Bought 2 of the 7' and 2 ea. of the 3' & 14'. 5 out of 6 worked fine, 1 of the 7' not so well. Connection is easy and they are great for sockets that are open on all sides, and not disconnected frequently.

Cons: The 1st 7' cable I used partially degraded signal to the point browser speeds were below dial-up to almost non-existent. Concerned I checked all of the other 5, all worked fine. Another issue is the small protective cover over the release tab. I assume it is to prevent damage or snags during cable pulls. In a connection socket that is open on all sides it is merely difficult to release the locking tab. In a close install such as rear of computer with many cables and shoulders nearby it is almost impossible. I have resorted to using pliers or a flat screwdriver to release the tab. This is not something I am comfortable doing, and the lack of ease of disconnect would probably rule these out for an avid cable jockey.

Other Thoughts: As usual Newegg rocks, shipping on time or earlier, on every order I have placed so far. At $4 ea. it hard to get too mad about this, low price seems to always mean the customer is the quality control dept.
