5 out of 5 eggsIt's a cable

Pros: It's a cable. It got here and I plugged it in. Don't know what else there is to say.

Cons: The snag-guard is incredibly stiff and once you get this sucker plugged in it's hard as hell to get it out. Make sure you get it in the right the first time to save yourself a callused finger.

5 out of 5 eggsEither they work or the don't

Pros: Network cables either work or they don't and my computer reads the 1Gbps readout.

Cons: like other people have mentioned, its hard to remove the plugs because of the boot on them, its stiff.

Other Thoughts: I bought 2, one for the modem to the router, and one from the router to my Gb compatible pc. "its better to get extra length then to accidentally have it run short". I didn't listen to that and had to move my router around so I'd recommend getting extra than having it run short.
Oh don't forget that these cables mean nothing if your router isn't Gb compatible and your computer too!

5 out of 5 eggsIt's cat6 cable...

Pros: It works on Gigabit Ethernet

Cons: It's hard wired cable

Other Thoughts: hard wired cable would be obsolete by now if wireless didn't increase my ping in games by 5-10 ms with high jitter.

4 out of 5 eggsThey work

Pros: Inexpensive and work fine

Cons: The little covering over the cable ends are more trouble than they are worth. I guess they are supposed to keep the prongs from being accidentally pushed in allowing the cable to fall out of whatever device it is in. Unfortunately, it works too well, because they can be very hard to remove. I have never had that trouble with unprotected cables falling out before, so I really don't see the need.

Other Thoughts: They are no faster than the CAT 5E cables on my connection.

Newegg shipping was very fast this time. Had it to me the next day. Awesome.
