4 out of 5 eggsNot too bad

Pros: Works ok for a keyboard or mouse.

Cons: Tends to have a slight bit of lag when typing, or moving the mouse. Also when holding down keys for gaming they tend to depress themselves.

Other Thoughts: Overall a great tool if you're not a gamer.

1 out of 5 eggsDid not work on some systems

Pros: Nice concept

Cons: It did not work through a KVM hooked up to a late model 64 bit Win7, or legacy WinXP hosts. Not tested with direct connections to either hosts, so the problem could have been in the KVM.
But both systems worked through the KVM setup with a DIFFERENT model adapter.

5 out of 5 eggsRosewill PS2-to-USB Works 4 Me!

Pros: I have a couple of these Rosewill adapters that are working fine (on two identical PCs), between USB ports driven by SB750 chipset (Gigabyte GA-MA790GPT-UD3 mobos) and PS2 mouse and keyboard ports on an ancient, but still fully functional, 4 port Belkin Omni View SE KVM.

Cons: none, so far.

Other Thoughts: No problems encountered under either Win7 or VMware ESXi (runs a Linux kernel first and then loads vmkernel)

2 out of 5 eggsOkay, but has problems

Pros: Its a good quality cable, doesn't feel cheap, but it does feel like its been sitting around on some shelf for the past 10-15 years.

Cons: I purchased this cable because my old PS/2 keyboard that I refuse to give up was having problems being detected after waking up windows from sleep mode. So I purchased this cable to try and solve the problem, which it did, and I was very happy with it. However there is some weird error when holding a key for more than 5 seconds, it suddenly stops detecting the key press. So I would be playing a game, and I would be running forward and all of the sudden my character would just stop, and I would have to push the direction again to continue moving forward. This is especially annoying in games like Skyrim or Mass Effect when you're walking forward a lot, and you have to constantly keep pressing W, it ruins the immersion.

Other Thoughts: If you're not planning on playing games with your keyboard, this should be fine for you. I haven't tried it with a mouse, so I don't know how well that works.

1 out of 5 eggsCheap

Pros: Cheap

Cons: Didn't work in the BIOS or boot menu.
Didn't work with Linux.

Other Thoughts: This product was a total waste of money. I called support and they were no help. I wouldn't buy another product from this brand.
