Pros: This cable was purchased to replace a faulty one that came with an external enclosure (that company will remain nameless here but I find it annoying that they would send a nice enclosure with an inferior cable). Since I purchased this cable I haven't had a single random dismount and I tend to use my firewire enclosure extensively. The cable is fairly thick, but flexible which is important since I have limited space for my computer desk and need to tyist the cable to get it in the proper position so I can get a fan on it.

Cons: I've had no problems at all with this.

Other Thoughts: Bought this for use with an AD/DA converter audio interface. Worked fine but the unit was annoying so I barely used this.

Pros: THIS A GREAT FIREWIRE 1394 CABLE FOR VIDEO EDITING PURPOSES. I USE AN EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE FOR MY FINAL CUT PRO PROGRAM AND THIS DOES A JOB AT TRANSFERRING DATA QUICKLY. A LOT FASTER THAN USB 2.0. WILL TRANSFER FILES IN SECONDS.

Cons: NOT A SUPERSPEED USB 3.0 WHICH WILL REPLACE ALL USB 2.0 AND FIREWIRE A AND B. BUT NOTHING OUT THERE IS SUPPORTING USB 3.0 YET.....

Other Thoughts: THE QUICKEST CABLE AVAILABLE FOR YOUR 1394 NEEDS. EVEN BETTER IF YOUR COMPUTER CAN SUPPORT FIREWIRE B AT 800 M/BITS.

Pros: It is a 6ft firewire cable. I don't know what els that I can really say about it. for 6$ it exceeded my explications it appears to be high quality. feels thick. I am sure it will last years without problems.

Cons: I don't see how you can have any complaints at this point with a firewire cable.

Other Thoughts: I looked at 3 stores for a firewire cable and came back empty handed. I'll leave names out but the 1st 2 did not have it at all. and the 3rd stop was sold out. and it would have been 25$. I should have just came here 1st
