Rosewill Model RCW-FPS-401 12" PWM Splitter

Pros: Should be a quick and easy install.

Cons: In theory this should split the PWM signal to control 3 PWM fans, but it doesn't.

All fans run at 100%. No PWM control.

Other Thoughts: Checked the connections and they seem ok.

Checked all fans and they run individually on PWM straight from MB.

Not sure what the issue is...

This cable splitter will only control the PWM on the cable labeled CPU fan because it is the only one with a complete 4-pin connection. The other two are straight 4-pin connections but only have 3 wires going in no PWM pin.

Pros: This thing is very cheap and it will provide more PWM plugs if your motherboard does not have enough.

Cons: One of the molex pins popped out as I was plugging the molex plug into my psu. I fixed it however. It's also hard to manage cables, as the cables randomly go from one to the next; it's not uniform.

Pros: Had no problems. Works well. Pretty cheap. Cable is long enough to hide away. All in all, I'm happy that I bought it.

Cons: No cons.

Other Thoughts: I have one mobo PWM slot connected to two PWM fans on a Hyper212.

Pros: Bought this connector due to a limited number of case fan controller ports on my MOBO, only three plus my CPU fan. The cable allows for the additional 4-pin RPM controller and such to be used but I only used it on the regular 3-pin case fans and it works flawlessly. The fans do however run at full RPM due to the straight plug into the PSU but none the less its great.

Cons: No cons to it. It the job it was meant to do.

Other Thoughts: Great buy and really inexpensive.

Pros: splits a molex into 3 4 pin fan connectors, has a conntctor that goes to motherboard for rpm feedback

Cons: wires are colerfull and messy

Other Thoughts: wish the cables where sleved or something

Pros: It does what it's supposed to. Allows me to stick another fan onto my Hyper 212 Plus and have them both run at the same RPM

Cons: It doesn't taste like bacon

Pros: a must have if your board doesn't have enough ports for fan control

Cons: it's a bit messy

Pros: Does what it's supposed to do. Monitors PWM of 1 fan and controls the others based on that.

Cons: None, really. It's a pretty simple device

Other Thoughts: Plugs into molex for power, and plugs into the board for PWM signal. It reads the RPM of the jack labeled "CPU" and then splits the PWM signal to run the other fans. Would only recommend it to run the same fans in the same area; e.g. two same make/model intake fan, or two push/pull CPU fans.

Pros: I have an Asus motherboard with only 2 case fan connection. I bought an Antec gaming case with 4 120mm fans. This item took care of my problem!

Cons: None, item works great. Even reads CPU fan speed and rear case fan speed that i hooked to it!

Pros: Great way to run up to 3 fans off one PWM header on your motherboard. And at a great price.

Cons: Cables are not sleeved, and colors are not very attractive.

Does require connection to a molex for additional power for other fans, but this should be expected for a PWM splitter.
