5 out of 5 eggsCable management dream

Pros: I wasn't lacking on cables, i have a modular system and i have the ability for 4 molex connections. My situation was i didn't want extra cables. I was able to put my 2 hard drives and my case lights that run off molex all on 1 cord so i reduced it from 2 cords to 1. Was it work $5? Sure, I wanted my case to look nice and this made it happen!

Cons: None, it was a bit clunky to fit, i kind of wish instead of a hard solid plastic piece it would e thinner and flexible to a certain extent.

5 out of 5 eggsInexpensive hard drive fix

Pros: Converts the power supply's female SATA cord to a female molex.

Cons: Due to the size and the horizontal setup of the hard drive I can no longer close the case.

Other Thoughts: I work in IT at the nearby college and loading 2 hard drives in my Optiplex 760 testing tower put too much strain on the hard drive's SATA power connector and it broke the plastic housing right off and bent the pins so it was unusable. Luckily the SATA data connector was undamaged and the drive had the alternative molex power—where this adapter came in handy. It saved me from having to buy another PCB from a shady site not to mention install it. The drive has been on for 2 weeks now. No issues. The pros definitely outweigh the cons. Thank you Rosewill!

4 out of 5 eggsHandy item

Pros: Cheap, seems like decent quality, does what its supposed to do.

Cons: I had to trim the outer plastic (it's soft... pvc I would guess) a bit with a razor blade to get the adapter to seat fully in the Molex power connector for my Silverstone card reader. The connector is a little bit recessed in that device (maybe a mm or two).

Other Thoughts: Allowed me to put the Molex power cord for my modular power supply away, cleaning up the appearance of the case interior a little bit.

2 out of 5 eggsMislabel

Pros: I a great fix if you have a newer PSU with no 4-pin molex cons on it.

Cons: While it does say "female" molex, it is actually a male. Not what I was looking for, but sis give the abilty to con an IDE drive I had laying around.

Other Thoughts: Its as great product. I'm glad I bought it. Still had to buy another, different, product to get what I was originally thinking this would resolve.

4 out of 5 eggsModerate quality

Pros: Does the job
doesn't blow up

Cons: if you're unplugging this thing, you'll need to pull it off carefully, and in one direction. else, the plastic will snap off, leaving only the metal pins. not really a con though, just my fault.

Other Thoughts: Just be careful with it.

5 out of 5 eggsIt fits

Pros: I connected this adapter onto the SATA power plug running from my power supply. I could then plug in the front panel IO of my case chasis, which uses a molex plug.

Cons: I was worried that I would order the wrong kind of SATA adapter i.e. ordering a SATA male instead of a SATA female because there is no clear/obvious label or anything. I had to guess which one it was.

Other Thoughts: I was happy that this adapter fit directly onto the SATA plug from my power supply, and that my computer isn't cluttered with extra Molex wires from the PSU.

5 out of 5 eggsEggcellent Adapter!

Pros: Easy to use, lightweight, small and compact. I used this to rid my modular PSU of the one molex cable I would've needed to run my fan controller. Saved me from the extra cable management and gave me no power issues!

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: It required a bit of extra force to connect the cables to each end, but that's usually the case with any new item.
