4 out of 5 eggsIt works after modification

Pros: Good price

Cons: The "A" end of the cable, plastic surrounding the connector was molded to thick, trimmed it and it works fine. Then again, maybe it is the Hub I am connecting it in. So, at this time, only the shadow knows.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Cable!

Pros: It has been more than a year since I bought this cable, it still works to this day, I don't plug it in / out often though.

I bought it expecting its transfer speed to be degraded due to its length; I am happy to say it does not appear to have degraded transfer speeds.

Cons: is it a con that after about two years It still works like new? I have to say wow.

Other Thoughts: Its funny to see that a cable outlasted the connector it plugs into.
(really cracks me up)

I have cell phones that have similar ports, its fascinating to notice that such a old cable can still get the job done.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks as expected

Pros: Price for length

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Using this cable with a card reader and external HD encloser that has an SSD in it, sustained read/write transfer rate for large files is basically what the drive is rated for. 300+ MB/s going from Lenovo T440p to the SSD.

5 out of 5 eggsCable Looks Fine but be Aware of USB 3.0 Connector

Pros: Cable looks fine, I just didn't pay attention to what I was getting

Cons: Don't make the stupid mistake I did, Micro-B connectors are different for USB 2.0 and USB 3.0. The 3.0 connector has an extra section and will not connect to a USB 2.0 Micro-B female port. These will be sitting on the shelf as spares now.

Other Thoughts: Pay close attention to the type of USB Micro-B connector you have, USB 2.0 and 3.0 are different.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Its a big long USB cable.

Cons: The cable is substantially thicker than I would have thought and a little inflexible. Still quite usable but it can be a little unwieldy.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Quality and Fast!

Pros: The cable is thicker and longer than the stock usb 3.0 cable that came with my Toshiba Canvio basic hard drive of 320gb. I am receiving at the highest so far 73.5 mb/sec and have tested this on two computers, (Windows 7 on laptop and Windows 8 on desktop) and made sure they were ran on usb 3.0 ports.

Cons: Long cable has its goods and bads when it comes to mobility but great when you need to plug the usb on the desktop to the back usb ports.

Other Thoughts: I used to always think my hardware was the problem for my portable hard drive to be slow, unresponsive, and intermittent when it was the cable the stock cable the whole time. This cable fixed my problem like magic! I would say to make sure you properly plug in the usb 3.0 device into the proper USB 3.0 ports and have your drivers updated. If you think the cable is to blame, make sure its not damaged and that the device your using supports 3.0 data transfers as well as your computers support USB 3.0.

1 out of 5 eggsNot achieving USB 3.0 speed

Pros: Seems well constructed and durable.

Cons: Not achieving USB 3.0 speeds, just USB 2.0.
Does not connect at all half the time.
Worthless for my needs.

Other Thoughts: I bought this cable to make a connection between the back of my tower and a new Transcend USB 3.0 card reader on top of my desk, as the Transcend supplied cable is only 18". The stock Transcend cable transfers photos in excess of 100MB/s on every USB 3.0 port while this one never ran faster than 26MB/s. Plus, it only connected about half the time.

I see the Mfg Response to several other users with the same experience ask to try the cable with another device...sorry, this is the only USB 3.0 device I currently own and it's the only device I needed a 6' Super Speed cable for.

Too bad return shipping is almost as expensive as the cable. I'll be looking into another brand now.

5 out of 5 eggsSturdy and works well

Pros: Rosewill makes really well-designed HDD enclosures, and I was happy to find they made USB 3.0 cables, too. The price is right for this cable - it's sturdy, and the connectors do not bend easily like some other cables' ends I have used before have. Good buy for about $5.

Cons: None so far.
