Rosewill RCAB-11009 49 ft. USB2.0 Active Extension Cable Supports Windows 7, Gold Plated, Black M-F

Pros: Running 2, 49' and a 16' chained to a HD web cam; works well on the 3.0 plug so far. Each repeater is recognized as a hub, and will run 6 on the 3.0 plug, 4 on the 2.0 plug. I was also able to record in HD without a hitch.

Cons: Would be nice to get 100' lengths at a cost as reasonable as this one.

Other Thoughts: I plan on y cables to the 3.0 plug to see how far I can go with 2 more 49' on order. So far 2.0 plug goes 98', 3.0 goes 114'. The I5 processor handles it better than the I3.

Pros: 49 ft, active extension!

Cons: The active repeaters increase the width of the cable. Makes it difficult to feed through the wall if that is what you are into. However this is true for all active extension USB cables

Other Thoughts: Works great and does the job with out issue. If you use devices that draw a lot of USB power I would recommend a hub with a power adapter as to not over draw along this long cable.

I would recommend this cable.

Pros: Comes in a shiny bag

Cons: Works with my MS mouse.
Doesn't work with my Logitech keyboard -- making it closet fodder.

Other Thoughts: Hey -- it's Rosewill. It is made to sell; not to work!

Pros: Solid design, great length, moderately priced.

Cons: Had to RMA the first one. That's why it's 4 out of 5 instead of 5.

Other Thoughts: Followup to an earlier 1 egg review where the received cable didn't work. RMA'ed it through Newegg. The replacement was immediately, and properly, detected by my system and handled moving an 800mb test file from a flash drive without any issues.

Pros: Solid design, great length, moderately priced.

Cons: Even with all USB devices disconnected, and the cable plugged directly into a motherboard port, the system doesn't detect it or a connected flash drive.

Pros: Cables worked with devices attached to a power USB hub at the end of the 50 FT stretch.. Impressive

Cons: Could not get windows to see the devices on the other end of cable unless it was connected directly to the PC core. Connecting to a HUB (even powered) on the input does not work

Pros: * Good Price
* Works as advertised

Cons: Bulbs at the end and in the middle made pulling the cable through conduit and a couple of holes challenging.

Other Thoughts: I'm using this cable to hook up an Epson Stylus Photo Pro 2200 from a computer in a separate room. This cable does the trick and works perfectly.

Pros: Pretty cheap and did the job great.

Cons: Died after 5 months (to the day), no longer works at all. No refundable, no replaceable.

Pros: 49 feet. Long, works. Is a USB cord. Seems to check all the boxes it advertised.

Cons: Not 50', so was weird to wire it along side another 50' cable.

Pros: I used this cable to run from my Media HDD in my office to the Smart TV in the living room, weaving it under the floor and up behind the unit. Quite a length for USB but that's what the TV needs to read all our movie files. Superb price for the quality and length! Very satisfied with this purchase.
