Rosewill RCAB-11022 6 ft. USB 2.0 A Male to Micro B Male Cable (5-Pin) w/ Ferrite Core, Gold Plated, Black M-M

Pros: Price and was on sale.

Cons: Poor material used to make the cable. Not flexible.

Other Thoughts: Ordered 2 of these to charge my Samsung galaxy phones. Worked just more than a month. Phones do not get charged anymore because of poor cable integrity. You have to play with the cable and if you are lucky you might make a connection. The fault is in the internal connection where the cable is joining to the Micro B male plug. Not worth replacing.

Pros: Cable works great for charging my Android tablet and phone! This is well worth the money I paid for it.

Cons: None

Pros: Long cheap cable

Cons: It's cheap.

Cons: Apparently these cables are not very durable. I ordered two, and one broke within two weeks of use.

Other Thoughts: A decent cheap cable, especially if it isn't going to be flexed or moved much.

Pros: Ferrite cores on both ends.
Gold (plated or just colored?) connectors.

Cons: None, after previous, defective cable was replaced via RMA.

Other Thoughts: The cable I received in October 2012 died after brief use, probably due to flimsy connection of cable wires to connector(s). I contacted Rosewill, and they did an excellent job handling the RMA. The replacement was out of stock, but the rep made sure to follow up and replace it when the new batch came in. Perhaps the previous batch had poor quality manufacturing, but the new one has been working fine for over 4 months of plugging and unplugging and flexing.

Pros: -Long cable
-High quality
-connector port just the right size for my use
-super cheap

Cons: -connector port is quite big, so depending on your usage, it may or may not fit. I'm using this for my Samsung Skyrocket with a case and it fits snug, which is great for preventing accidental disconnects and being left with an uncharged phone.

Other Thoughts: Basic cable and does what it is supposed to do. Glad I got it and am now getting another one to keep at work.

Pros: Low cost and decent quality = good value.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: How people pay $15 or $20 for a cable from a big box store is beyond me. I needed another cable with the micro connector and have had good luck with Rosewill products in the past so I decided to pick this up. 6-foot length is nice if you have one of the newer devices that only gives you a short cable out of the box.

Pros: Inexpensive.
I use it to charge my phone and copy files to my tablet.
Its simple cable and simply works.
The ferrite bead may help for noisy environments.

Cons: I can't think of any downsides to this product.

Pros: A ferrite core at either end, gold-plated for better electronic transmission, black flexible plastic and internal shielding ensures proper flexibility

Cons: The connector stopped connecting. Two weeks into ownership. Just...stopped. I have to fiddle with it back and forth to get any kind of connection, and it's brief at that. All of my short, or damaged, or junk cables work just fine by comparison to my (new) one here.

Other Thoughts: I have no idea how a high-quality cable like this stops working. I'm contacting Rosewill, but I suspect the cost of returning via RMA will far exceed the cable's cost at Newegg in the first place

Pros: Looks well made, externally, with UL-recognized USB 2.0 cable, ferrite beads and gold-colored (can't say if it's real gold) connectors.

Cons: After perhaps a dozen or so insertions/removals on the micro-USB end into my tablet, either the ground or +DC connection failed, such that it no longer charges the tablet.

Other Thoughts: Sent Rosewill a RMA request today.

It shouldn't be so hard to find a sturdy, well-made cable, but there are many duds out there, regardless of brand.
