1 out of 5 eggsCable Issues with Rosewill

Pros: None.

Cons: Consistent problems using Rosewill Sata III cables. Drives unreadable, latency problems.

Other Thoughts: Normally I do not review products. In this case I am making an exception. I recently built a new computer and I used Rosewill Sata III cables. As a result I received Blue screen crashes, inconsistency reading the Sata SSD drives, latency issues etc. Troubleshooting the problems, I decided to change the Rosewill cables purchase from Newegg, and switch to StarTech cables also purchased from Newegg. After switching the Rosewill cables (10 of them) to StarTech, I had no more problems. Be fore warned if you experience any of the above issues, switch cable manufacturers. I will personally never purchase a Rosewill product again.

1 out of 5 eggsI want the missing 2 inches.

Pros: I guess they work but too short to really use. Solid black is nice instead of red.

Cons: Way shorter than advertised.

Other Thoughts: Every other SATA cable I have bought gauged the size by the length of the actual cable between the connector ends In this case the cable and ends are measured together and even then they fall short of 10" (9 3/4) If they were being honest they would have advertised them as what they really are... 8 inch SATA cables. Fortunately they were cheap so I will keep them around in case I find a use for them in a future build.

5 out of 5 eggsSata cables

Pros: They're SATA 3 cables
Build quality seems good.
Inexpensive.

Cons: not much to complain about....they're short?

Other Thoughts: Short.....10" to be exact....just like the ad says.
Whoops, I need longer cables....I should have paid more attention to the length.
These are moslty good for small cases, I have Mid towers.
Duh <slap head>

3 out of 5 eggsSo-so Cables

Pros: Cheap Sata III Cables

Cons: Shorter than I expected, pop out easily

Other Thoughts: I bought this along with my SSD the other day. It was a pain getting these cables to fit, but I managed. Next time I'm going to get AT LEAST 18". I would've spent a little more had I know how short 10" really was.

5 out of 5 eggsA Very Happy Customer

Pros: Seems like a standard cable to me. I ordered 4 and they all appear to work.

Cons: Not really a con but know how long of a cable you need. I ordered these for a cramped mini-itx system

5 out of 5 eggsGood cable

Pros: It's a cable and it works, what more do you need?

Cons: Ten inches sounds like alot, but you might want to actually measure your route in your case.

Other Thoughts: I didn't measure, and when I got it, it didn't reach to the bottom of the case where my SSD mount was. Saved by having a 2.5 to 3.5 mounting kit that I had forgotten about in a box in the basement.
Nothing against the cable, it was my wrong guess.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Low price, short length, good construction, black color.

Cons: Be advised that because of the locking mechanism you may not be able to use two of these in a stacked pair of motherboard SATA connections (two openings in one plastic housing). The Gigabyte Z77X-UD3H motherboard I used these with has three pairs of connectors, two SATA II, and one SATA III. I had no problems since I only need to use one of each pair of connectors (one SSD, one older SATA II drive and a SATA II DVD drive).

Other Thoughts: The length of the cable section alone is just under 9 inches, the total length (including the connectors on each end) is about 10.75 inches.

Pros: Quality Cables

Cons: Much shorter than expected. The cables themselves are not 10" long.
