5 out of 5 eggsGood cables

Pros: Difficult to find things to write about cables. They feel solid, they are black, they snap right in where they are supposed to...

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I should have bought shorter. I KNEW that... don't know why I didn't.

5 out of 5 eggsDoes what it should

Pros: -Plenty of length
-Black

Cons: -little clips can cause problems depending on how your SATA ports on your mobo are configured. if they are at right angles on top of each other, the little clips on these cables will prevent you from using both the top and bottom SATA ports, meaning you can only use half of them. so if you are like me and 3 sata devices, SDD, HDD, Optical, then just plug your optical into the 3gb/s slots. even your HDD could be plugged into those slots, as the SSD is the only thing that can really take advantage of the 6gb/s speeds. but just a heads up. if you have multiple SSDs or SATA drives in general, you might want to look for cables without the little clips.

3 out of 5 eggsOk, not great

Pros: Feels like a solid cable, flat connectors on both ends, SATA III speeds (plan to speed test soon)

Cons: Purchased some of these cables as part of some components that were short during my initial PC build. Needless to say, I was in a hurry to pop 'em in and get on with it. Ripped open the first cable I came to and connected it to my brand new ASUS mobo and SSD.

After much fiddling, I found that I could not get the clip to click into place. It just kind of sat there, but would not lock in. Very odd - looks like the clips should work. Other SATA III and II connectors I'm using click just fine.

Other Thoughts: Needless to say, I was holding my breath while replacing the case side door, for fear of knocking the cable out of place. Must have a gentle touch as the new drive showed up in the BIOS.

Would've stuck with the cables from my mobo, but the angle connector just wouldn't fit for the tight space in my second 2.5" drive bay.

I have seen a few posts on the subject from other cables, but not these. Oh, well - as long as it works, I guess... Will check another cable and the clip next chance I get.

3 out of 5 eggsFailed on me

Pros: Look nice and solid, well built, Rosewill is a company I Trust.

Cons: Purchased two of these. One of them was labeled correctly, "SATA III" while the other was not. I used the Sata3 on my HDD, and I had problems from the start. Finally through troubleshooting, I decided to change cables and all my problems went away.

Other Thoughts: Test these when you get them. I mean no hate against Rosewill, they make quality products... Just maybe not these.
