Mine measured in at 2 feet 9 inches. This may not seem like a big deal, but it truly is when you are trying to set up a well organized and neat system. 3 feet needs to be 3 feet or at least err on the side of a tad bit longer. This cable is exactly what it is said to be: A patch cable. If you are looking for a cable to reach across the room then this is not your cable. Spend 50 cents more and get the 7 foot cable. If you have a home or business network that runs more than one router of switch then this cable is designed to do just that and great for that task. Cons: None Other Thoughts: Other Thoughts: Do not purchase this cable to connect your computer to a router or switch unless you are sure that the distance between them is no more than 2 feet away, not three; there needs to be some slack. Most of all remember that this cable is supposed to be used as a patch cable, not a standalone cable.
