Not all the PSUs are constructed with generous-length cables and some motherboards contain unreasonably located power connectors that are hard to reach, which will result in strained connection that causes inconvenience for installation or even damage to your hardware. Engineered with this in mind, the Rosewill 24-pin power extension cable delivers a 'relaxed' connection without compromising current or performance. It's also a great addition to high-end computer chassis with backpanel cable routing. The cable is individually sleeved in a black enclosure for a sleeker look that seamlessly integrates into the case's interior.

Make the cable yours today and power up your system.

  • newegg 24-Pin Extension Cable The Rosewill RCDV-12002 is a 9.8" (250mm) cable that extends the 24-pin main power connection between PSU and motherboard, ideal for use in backpanel routing.
  • newegg Sleeved Cable Every wire is individually sleeved in black tube, contributing to a neat inner looks, easier cable management and better airflow.

1 out of 5 eggsDont waste your money

Pros: NONE!!!!

Cons: it was delivered today and broke while installing. I saw other reviews that had the same problem. As I went to plug in the adapter 5 of the pins came loose. AGAIN, waste of money. The unit is very stiff and it looks like i wasted $7.

2 out of 5 eggsNot very flexible.

Pros: Nice quality design.
Individually sleeved wires are nice.

Cons: Flexibility isn't the best.

I bought this not only for the extension but for being able to move it in any direction, in which you cant really do. The way the cable comes "folded over" works well if u need it that way (the direction of the plug), but my setup required one end to flip around, and with all that stress and weird wire angles, i simply don't use it. Seems like something will come lose if you do get it forced into this orientation.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat extensions, great for custom sleeving

Pros: I've sleeved a ton of cables, using lots of different extensions, from auction sites, okgear, stock extensions, etc. These are by far the best extensions I've worked with - the terminals are high quality and sturdy, the wire is robust, and and plastic connectors are not weak nor the insides get messed up from the terminals.

I bought these cables because they were actually cheaper than non-sleeved cables, to use for a custom paracord sleeving job, due to discounts.

I bought one of the cables for cheaper elsewhere, but it wasn't even a dollar less and ended up being more expensive when I had to buy a rosewill extension to replace it when it just totally came apart and was a huge pain to work with.

It's much easier to pull the pins from these extensions, it's much easier to sleeve them, they are much easier to work with in every way. Really shocked how bad other extensions could be.

Cons: I wish they had a non sleeved variety to save a bit of time lol

4 out of 5 eggsGreat price & great product

Pros: Awesome looking gives your case a nice professional look and keeps cables clean and in order..

Cons: Very stiff at first but a few bends back & forth slowly with some penitence & it works just great..

Other Thoughts: I noticed some reviews said that the cables slipped out or disconnected & needed a lot of force to clip on, the cable did not slip out or disconnect once at all on me so just a tip there cables not made of steal so like I said before slowly with penitence & you will have no issues & when your connecting it make sure you push the bottom on first then slide up with your hand while you push firmly sliding towards the top of the connector and it clips right on do not be shy to put some force not a ton but some..

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Adapter

Pros: Great little adapter for your 24-pin mainboard socket. If you're concerned with aesthetics, this could be a good solution if black is what you're looking for.

Wires are individually cloth-wrapped black into small black shrink sleeves right before entering the plastic plug. Very nicely done. Looks incredibly better than those nasty orange/red/yellow/white/whatever other colors they use all over the side of your motherboard when routing it behind the tray.

Cons: Nada.

Other Thoughts: I was originally looking at BitFenix adapters like this at a different site, but randomly stumbled upon New Egg's own Rosewill here on this site, got it for at least $10 cheaper. Perfect fit.

2 out of 5 eggsCheap cables

Pros: For just a few dollars i made my rig look a lot nicer

Cons: Sleeving is very cheeply made. Its hard to bend and the sleeving comes out of the heatshrink very easily and is very difficult or impossible to put back in. luckily for me i was able to put most of the seperated sleeving behind my motherboard tray

Other Thoughts: dont buy these, but if you do be very careful not to put any stress on thecables so the sleeving doesnt pull out.

1 out of 5 eggsNot worth it

Pros: It looks nice in the package

Cons: Heatshrink came off of the ends on several wires before I even installed it. Not as stiff as other have mentioned. The metal pins came out of the connector after it was installed and removed just once from the motherboard.

Other Thoughts: May try to re-sleeve it myself, otherwise it will go in the garbage.

5 out of 5 eggsDo the Job

Pros: Its a sharp looking extension for your rig. Works as advertise, you plug your power supply 20+4 pin conneter on one end and plug the other end to your mother board and presto, you got a mother board with pretty wires with a clean look!

Cons: very stiff, hard to bend, it took some work to get it too look right in my rig. I didnt take an egg off for this because it still is a nice extension.

Other Thoughts: Its Stiff to move around and make it perfect but once you do you'll be happy with it

5 out of 5 eggsYup, they're cables.

Pros: They're cables. Not really much to say. They look pretty nice and they fit the way they're supposed to.

Cons: They could be a little bit longer and it would be super nice if the wires were stranded to make the cables more flexible/manageable.
