Pros: Used to connect a new Intel NUC to existing monitor - plug-n-play, no issues.
1920 x 1080 works fine.

Cons: none - hey, its a cable - make sure you pick the correct ends!

Other Thoughts: Long cable - good if you need it - but a shorter version would have been nice (had to hide a bunch of slack).

Pros: Good price if it works

Cons: Didn't work on any device. Identical cable from other brand worked fine. I'm sure it's just this cable.

Pros: This was a rather inexpensive product that perfectly suited my needs. I intentionally bought a 10ft cable when I only needed 3 because the price differential was very small and I wanted the option to use this in other settings later on. The connectors seem fairly robust and the digital nature of the signal means I'm getting the best quality possible with the hardware I have connected. Additionally, the lightweight cable and mini DisplayPort connector are at much less of a risk of falling out of the machine compared to the VGA alternative

Cons: the only potential con of this product is that the housing for the DVI connector is much larger than average. This could lead to some problems for users attempting compact mounting methods.

Other Thoughts: This cable allows my setup to connect directly to a third monitor without additional adaptors. As previously mentioned in the Pros section, the digital format provides a fairly obvious increase in video quality over VGA, so I recommend DisplayPort whenever possible. The snap in connection on the DisplayPort side also means the connector keeps itself secure without the use of screw terminals, so any accidental tripping is more likely to lead to a disconnect than a fallen computer or a broken port.
