Cons: This Tripp Lite USB cable is listed as being shielded; but the shielding does not work. Other Thoughts: I purchased this cable for the entertainment center, because I was getting video feedback on the TV on a few specific channels. I was only using 2 unshielded cables, due to new equipment, and traced the feedback to the usb cable that came with the equipment. This replacement "shielded" cable was supposed to eliminate the interference, but it did not. Only because it is long enough, I am able to reroute the cable differently and make 2 large loops with it; and that greatly reduces the video interference. Tripp Lite used to have superior quality, by my latest purchases of their products have let me down... their quality control lacks. Newegg should change the specifications on this item to not mislead consumers into Tripp Lite's false marketing. The shielding on this cable does not work.
