Well constructed and doesn't look or feel cheap. Cons: None at all. It does exactly as intended. Other Thoughts: I just want to point out one thing a couple reviews mentioned. There are clear plastic covers on the ends of the cable, as there should be to protect them during shipping and storage. The cable is optical. That means sound is transmitted by light, and not through metal wires. If the plastic caps are not removed, the cable will not slide all the way into the devices it's being used on. The result is a fit that appears to be loose. I used RCA plugs with a USB sound filter to connect my PC to my home amplifier for over 5 yrs. It was good in it's time, but only provides an analog connection. The difference between digital and analog is night and day. If you have an older home theater that doesn't decode compressed sound formats, it's time to consider updating your equipment. 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful. Did you? Doesn't feel cheap, and comes with caps, just as fiber should to keep the connection clean during shipment. Cons: Had a couple weeks now, and haven't had any cons yet.
