1 out of 5 eggsFiber

This review is from: Tripp Lite N520-03M 9.8 ft. Duplex Multimode 50/125 Fiber Patch Cable

Pros: It's fiber. I make the stuff.

Cons: Rip off for the price. We throw 10' sections in the garbage because they are nearly impossible to shoot with an OTDR.
If you can find the fiber type out that would be your best bet.
single mode- AB cheapest practically give it away
multi-mode- CB 62.5 micron ok
multi-mode XB 50 micron the best stuff
best is DB specs and attenuation are very high.
we don't even run fiber under 300' do to copper being almost as good.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Cable

This review is from: Tripp Lite N520-03M 9.8 ft. Duplex Multimode 50/125 Fiber Patch Cable

Pros: Good quality cable. No issues.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I need to learn how to cut, polish and make this to size. 9.8 ft is great, but if I only need to go 4 ft it is a little excessive.

4 out of 5 eggsNice Cable

This review is from: Tripp Lite N520-03M 9.8 ft. Duplex Multimode 50/125 Fiber Patch Cable

Pros: Nice cable. Does what it is supposed to.

Cons: None as/of yet

Other Thoughts: Wish I could get this shorter than 10 FT, but NE doesn't carry shorter ones at this point.
