Pros: small, light, connects 2 dvi cables for longer lengths.
I originally had (2) 25' Dual DVI cables connected together with just a regular DVI coupler from my PC downstairs to Monitor Upstairs. Yeaah.....that didn't work to well, frequent no signal to monitor, worked only here and there, etc. so I knew I needed a booster signal. This device worked well so far. I ended up using a 16' DVI cable and then a 25' cable with the booster in the middle.

Cons: Directions seemed a little confusing, the sticker on the device telling me to connect the DVI cable from the PC to the Device and then from the Device to my monitor I think was backwards. As I setup as instructed, but still no signal. Then I switched it around and it worked. I ended up using the shorter cable (16') from my PC to the device, and then used the longer 25' cable from the device to my monitor.

Other Thoughts: Don't forget you need to also plug this device in somewhere when you are connecting the 2 cables together with it, as it is a powered booster signal.

Pros: 1 screen works............

Cons: .... the other two don't,.

( One get's such a corrupted signal the monitor can barely display anything, the other non-functional screen works - but has lots of little dots and lines all over the screen for non-black&white ).

Ah well, it was worth a try. I setup my three screens using a pair of triplite 50ft cables each ( since after my original plan I decided to move the office further away from the PC and 50ft was not enough ). Of course this may be a problem with having 3 seperate cables with video signals running alongside each other.

Other Thoughts: I guess I would have to stand by my original 4 egg rating for a single monitor - but it appears that multihead setups can have some issues.

Pros: Plug it in and you can run your display happily with a 100ft DVI cable.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I'm intending to remote my triple head work computer into the basement so I don't have to listen to it all day!!!

I've setup 1 of these on one of the three 1680x1050 LCD using a 100ft cable that is piled under my desk, wrapped around various power cables, satellite cables and various other cables in a big spaghetti pile. The display works perfectly, no noise, no problems and full screen video seems to have the same quality and color balance as a regular connection.

I can't fault it. Next step is to try 3 of them next to each other!

Pros: Works great, awesome signal quality with 100ft dual-link dvi cables that are also made by tripp-lite. Its also a small package that can easily be hidden from sight.

Cons: The screw mounts (that you screw the cable screws into) are too recessed for many cables, and we had to use zip-ties to ensure connectivity. Also, it might have been nice to have some mounting hardware, or maybe have it darkly colored so it doesn't stick out so much.
