The cable features gold plated DB25 male/male connectors and gold plated copper contacts for superior conductivity. It is manufactured from superior molded cable with integral strain relief and double shielding for maximum EMI/RFI protection. It contains low-capacitance, impedance matched, twisted-pair conductors that protect against cross-talk and other transmission problems. IEEE 1284 Switch Cable Pros: the reason I'm giving it 5 eggs is because it works and is good quality, the right length... even though they sent me the wrong wire and I have no use for this one I was able to test it out and it works great.. Cons: non.. Other Thoughts: I'm just really happy that newegg has great customer care, they sent me the wire that I was supposed to get which was a parallel cord, for a thermal printer, 3 day select shipping from UPS for free.. IEEE 1284 Switch Cable Pros: This cable is well manufactured, aswell is the exactly right product as stated in it's description. Cons: Semmes a bit expensive for just some cable, given that it really doesnt sport any super fast data transfer rates. Other Thoughts: This cable is the EXACT one necessary to fix a "bricked" GP2X.
