Pros: A low cost option to run two monitors off of one VGA output.

Cons: Ghosting and ringing of the display. It's not too bad if the lengths of the cable are the same between the splitter and each monitor, but pretty bad if the cables are of unequal length.

Other Thoughts: The only satisfactory solution to running two monitors off of one computer is to buy a video card with two separate VGA outputs and set up the card for "clone" mode, but this will set you back at least $100.

Pros: After trying to figure out what to do with this purchase, it now serves as a mini extension cord (but not a splitter) for my monitor.

Cons: The splitter provides ghosting image which significantly diminishes quality of the image whether it be on my 19" Gateway LCD, or 42"Plasma Toshiba when both sources (xbox 360/pc vgas) are connected, even though one of them is powered off.

Other Thoughts: Seemed like a good idea to buy this splitter to avoid hassle with switching back and forth VGA components behind my monitor while using XBOX 360/ and my pc video card VGA output... Just buy a NONSPLITTER mini extension cord for your VGA.

Pros: It kinda worked.

Cons: Just as someone else mentioned, it creates a double image due to interference (a ghosting byproduct). I also had to use powerstrip to force 1920x1200. The splitter also has screws on each individual head. Why? My cables have scews already to secure them. Maybe it was intended for extension cables...

Other Thoughts: I also have a GWC VS1120 Video 2-Port Splitter that has fairly good reviews. However, it has similar performance issues to a lesser extent. Plus, I think its beginning to fail.

Pros: Works like it says, splits one signal in two.

Cons: We bought 65 to connect computers to projectors and come to find out that we are getting very slight double images on every screen, not sure if it's due to the shielding but still looking into that, purchasing a different kind to test.

Pros: Worked great from the initial installation. Clones the screen to another monitor with NO problem.

Cons: NONE

Pros: Works exactly how I wanted it to; splitting my VGA connection in two so that I could have two monitors displaying the same exact image.

Cons: None thus far.

Other Thoughts: This will not work for those people who wish to have the "Dual Monitor" (being able to drag your mouse from one monitor to the other) effect since it is fed through the same singular VGA input on your computer.
