Probably a good cable for 1080p or other low res purpose. Cons: Tons of noise @ 1600x1200. Unusable. Had to return it. It's not my hardware because I'm using a different cable with a little bit of noise I was hoping this would have improved upon. After receiving it I see it has the same exact text printed on the cable yet it doesn't behave as well. Must be differences in the ferrites or something. Did you find this review helpful? I assume that's what you need since you're looking at this cable. Also, it successfully delivers a DVI signal for 25 feet. It's reasonably priced. The price is well worth it and was way below the one offered by an on-line/local competitor which was $100, you do the math. With the cable end protectors I was able to run the cable (25ft) around without worrying about damaging the pins. BUY THIS CABLE!!! Cons: None other than Newegg has NO 24/7 Customer Service for us customers to correct ordering and/or shipping problems (see below). Other Thoughts: I recommend that when ordering a cable, order one that carries a name brand because usually it has been tested and verified as doing the job specified. I ordered the cheap one (SYBA 30 ft. DVI to DVI Cable Model SY-DVID-MM30) because other cheapies worked fine in the past but not with the SYBA (expect where critical and clear signals are needed along the cable (Read my review on the SYBA)). I went with the TRIPPLITE because of the name brand. (Note: Received the Tripplite and it works great). Note: Newegg did the right thing and approved the exchange. Great job Newegg!!! Newegg, please don't change the 3 day shipping policy because that ONE of the main reasons I remain a Newegg customer. REQUEST: Newegg Customer Service (both Chat and Phone Service) should be available 24/7 to allow customers to correct any problems at night and on weekends.
