The 36-in. housing spaces the outlets 2.6 inches apart from center to center, allowing enough room for most AC adapters and transformers.

Power Previously Un-Powered Areas with Extra Long Cord

Install the PS3612 far away from its power source and provide power distribution to previously un-powered areas with the extra long, 15-ft. power cord. The PS3612 can be mounted in a different area, or a completely different room, from where it draws AC power, putting you in control of getting reliable power service where you need it most.

Premium Safety Features

The lighted On/Off switch features a translucent cover that eliminates accidental shut offs while still allowing you to see whether the PS3612 is operational with a glance. A built-in, 15-amp circuit breaker prevents dangerous circuit overloads that could damage equipment. The breaker immediately shuts off AC input to the PS3612 when it detects that the equipment load is drawing too much power.

Cons: None noted. Other Thoughts: Using enclosed mounting tabs, I mounted one of each of these to my three 19" equipment racks and plugged them into my 4KVa UPS. Clean-looking, simple, relatively cheap, and easily serviceable solution. Pros: • 12 Outlets! • Saying goodbye to seeing the Power Adapter take up two or more of my Power Spots! Cons: Not really a bad thing, it does come with a "Mounting Bracket", but I have this all Metal / Glass Desk. Bracket is really made for wood only. Nothing a couple Wire Ties can't take care of. Other Thoughts: Dear Electronics Industry, Please stop making devices that need Adapters that are bigger then the device itself and that take up and waste so many useful plugs. Has a nice plastic cover over the power switch to prevent accidental powering off. Cons: Does not have Surge Protection or power line filtering Other Thoughts: For the price it is a great Unit. Replaced two lesser powerstrips and allowed me to clean up a maze of electric cables under my desk. Included rail attached it nicely to the rear of my desk. Cons: 15 feet on the cable is overkill. The outlets are nicely spaced, but because of the horizontal socket alignment it still won't fit large converter-type plugs next to each other. This thing barely fits in the closet as it is. Cons: Doesn't warm my coffee. Other Thoughts: I bought this in order to power my server and network rack in my closet. The cord is long enough to reach out of the closet to a nearby outlet in the room. There is enough space between plugs that you can easily fit any moderately sized power blocks together.
