In one compact, cost-effective unit, the TLP810NET provides comprehensive protection for small to medium A/V installations and all electronics. It features a high 3240-joule surge suppression rating—more joules mean more protection! A total of eight AC outlets with built-in safety covers provide the capacity you need to protect all your components. Single-line tel/Ethernet (RJ45) surge protection, 2-line tel/DSL (RJ11) surge protection and single-line 2.2GHz gold coaxial surge protection protect every incoming line through which a damaging surge could reach your equipment. Versatile Protection for A/V Components and All Electronics

The TLP810NET offers cost-effective surge protection and performance enhancement for A/V components, PCs, peripheral devices and all electronics. It provides eight AC outlets, a 10-ft. cord, enabling connection to a distant wall outlet, and a space-saving right-angle plug that allows furniture to be placed flush against the wall. The 10' cord is excellent. The telephone line protector works as intended. A fax machine plugged into this unit has no issues. Cons: None Other Thoughts: The 10' cord is thick. Has >3000 joule rating, 150V clamping, RJ-11 and RJ-45 protection. At $41 shipped, it sure beats the $150 Sharp-branded surge protector our copier supplier tried to sell us together with the copier! Cons: None, for my purposes. I don't need the coax connectors, but I'm not going to ding the product for that. Other Thoughts: I hope I never have to find out how well it works, but I feel better, especially living in an area with lots of lightning storms. Pros: Price for this product with the features offered were a great deal in my opinion. I was mainly looking for protection after my old surge protector did not do its job, and wanted to make sure my newly built PC was safe. warranty, wall plug, 10ft cord, and the "I am being protected lights" a plus. Cons: Only con so far is the Ethernet ports and I did dock an egg for this as it is a major feature of the product for protecting a computer. They are a little too close together and I had to actually shave down one side of a cat 5 cable so they would both fit. Hopefully after feed back they will begin to fix this on future models. Like a well-oiled sports car, I want to make sure my rig stays in top shape. I chose this protection solution because Tripp Lite is a trustworthy name in the industry. The rating of joules protection is pretty much the highest I could find on Newegg, and there is a 250,000 USD insurance policy for any connected hardware. It comes with plenty of connections, even for ethernet, and it even looks good (I have it mounted on my wall). Cons: I think two in/out ethernet connection ports would have been nice, since a lot of high end motherboards these days support dual LAN connection, but that's not much of a con to me. Other Thoughts: If you are going to invest hundreds, or even thousands of dollars into a computer/home entertainment system/etc... do yourself a favor and DO NOT skimp on your surge protection. I've never had any problems with it and its still going strong. It has served extremely well to protect my system from the noisy power where I live. This model is great because of the outlet covers, the coax and of course the ETHERNET protection. Pros: Tripp_lite rules, if you're not impressed by the product description at NewEgg go over to Tripp-Lite website to read the nitty gritty on this surge suppressor. It protects the outlet, coaxial, telephone AND Ethernet cables which I desperately needed for our FiOs service !! Lightening blew out our first Verizon Router and Tripp_lite is now saving us from ever experiencing that again. This should be a standard installation product to Fios service. Cons: Absolutely none!
