This helps to assure proper load balance in complex redundant power applications.
The PDUMV40 features color-coded current meters, plugs, power cords, outlets and circuit breakers for each independent 20A circuit. This simplifies power cord management in high-density multi-server configurations. The included L5-20R to 5-20P plug adapters enable the PDU to be connected to standard 5-15/20R outlets.

Pros: Space efficient, organized, snap in mounting
Cons: 20-amp plugs instead of more common 15-amp, due to the high concentration of outlets
Other Thoughts: I've been slowly filling out a rack in a small business and bought this PDU after running out of places to plug things in. I feel silly for not buying this when I got the rack, it snaps right in without tools (APC NetShelter) and takes up no space. Cords can be short and direct to the nearest outlet, redundant server power supplies can be plugged into alternate circuits, and overall power draw is conveniently displayed.
