Features
The CyberPower 850 surge suppressor is a Home/Office Computer Surge Protector and is fully internet-ready with One-In / Two-Out phone/fax/modem protection. This model is ideal for personal computers, phones/fax/modems, printers, stereos, and CD/DVD players.

The 850 features 2400 Joule of protection and metal oxide varistor (MOV) technology safely guards the surge suppressor and connected electronics against line abnormalities and lightning surges. Electro-magnetic and radio frequency interfernce (EMI/RFI) filtering blocks unwanted line noise from all connected electronics.

Metal Oxide Varistor (MOV) - MOV technology allows normal current to pass through the device, while diverting any surge/spikes through the ground circuit. This safely protects all connected electronics along with the surge suppressor itself.

Built-In Automatic Shutdown - In the event that the surge/spike exceeds the unit's ability to suppress the signal, the CyberPower 850 surge suppressor will safely shut itself down to protect all connected electronics.

Transformer-spaced Outlets - Widely-spaced outlets allow you to conveniently add large transformer-based plugs without compromising the utility of other outlets.

EMI/RFI Shielding - Provides shielding against electromagnetic interference & radio frequency signals. Most commonly, this is used to prevent line noise or "humming" that occurs over telephone lines or stereo electronics.

ISO & Safety Certifications - All CyberPower manufacturing facilities are ISO-9001 Quality Tested. Our products are also UL Listed and CSA Certified.

Child-safe Outlets: Outlets on the surge suppressor that are not used can be "closed off", so accidental electrical charging of objects cannot occur.

Keyhole Mounting Slots - Convenient mounting slots are located on the back on the surge suppressor.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks as promised

Pros: Enough outlets for my needs.
Has a green and a red led

Cons: Doesn't know how to stimulate me with its electric current. :)

Other Thoughts: Well i spilled a full can of sparkling water, it fell under my desk and got the entire floor there wet. This unit even though it got wet didn't stop working.

Is it water proof ? Maybe at least on the bottom part of it.

5 out of 5 eggsComfort of safety

Pros: 4 nice wide outlets for bigger plugs
Covers slide for unused outlets
Auto shut-off for a surge it can't handle
Screw slots on the back to mount it under your computer desk and hide it away nicely

Cons: Had a little trouble plugging in the cord from my psu... I mean I was realllly putting pressure on that thing but it finally popped in. But it shouldn't have taken that much pressure. Not enough of a hassle to knock an egg off though.

Other Thoughts: It's nice to just know that no matter what kind of surge comes through, your electronics are protected by the auto shut-off.
