The CyberPower 750 surge suppressor is a Home/Office Computer Surge Protector and is fully internet-ready with One-In / Two-Out phone/fax/modem protection. This model is ideal for personal computers, phones/fax/modems, printers, stereos, and CD/DVD players.

The 750 features 1250 Joules of protection and metal oxide varistor (MOV) technology, which guards the surge suppressor and connected electronics against line abnormalities and lightning surges. EMI/RFI filtering blocks unwanted line noise from all connected electronics.

  • newegg Metal Oxide Varistor (MOV) MOV technology allows normal current to pass through the device, while diverting any surge/spikes through the ground circuit. This safely protects all connected electronics along with the surge suppressor itself.
  • newegg Built-In Automatic Shutdown In the event that the surge/spike exceeds the unit's ability to suppress the signal, the CyberPower 750 surge suppressor will safely shut itself down to protect all connected electronics.
  • newegg Transformer-spaced Outlets Widely-spaced outlets allow you to conveniently add large transformer-based plugs without compromising the utility of other outlets.
  • newegg EMI/RFI Shielding The CyberPower 750 surge suppressor provides shielding against electromagnetic interference and radio frequency signals. Most commonly, this is used to prevent line noise ("humming") that occurs over telephone lines and stereo electronics.
  • newegg Keyhole Mounting Slots Convenient mounting slots are located on the back on the surge suppressor.
  • newegg Sturdy ABS Case The CyberPower 750 surge suppressor is constructed of impact-resistant composite material for maximum durability.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent surge protector

Pros: Easy to use, has 7 outlets and several outlet ports for cable/telephone/modem cables. Feels durable yet is lightweight. I've owned this for over a year and it still works great.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks as intended

Pros: Works, gets the job done

Cheap, got it for under $10 during a sale

Cons: Personal preference, but this power surge protector looks rather ugly. Not a fan of the weird protruding curve and the color choices, though I don't care too much as it is under my table, out of view

5 out of 5 eggsworks as intended

Pros: I have owned several of these through the years and they always do their job. The reason I have gone through several is because of the number of lightning strikes and power surges here take them out, but that is what they were designed to do. Take the damage so your equipment doesn't.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Remember, even for basic cheap equipment, you still need at least 1000 joules protection. Higher quality equipment needs 2000 joules or more.

3 out of 5 eggsonly 6 outlets for me

Pros: it was inexpensive.

Cons: so much for transformer space - I lost one outlet b/c of spacing. I have 2 transformer plugs (not large at all) and exactly 7 things to plug in. Looks like this will move into the living room for the holiday lights.

Other Thoughts: I would have gone with an 8 outlet or another style had I known this wouldn't solve my surge protection needs.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Value For the Price

Pros: The delivery time was outstanding, which is what I have come to expect from Newegg. Great value for the price. It performs just like a surge protector should, and I could not ask for anything more.

Cons: None
