Pros: really now days it is a worthless thing. I only had to get it to connect two of my old projectors but now I have to new ones and I'd rather use DVI.

Cons: Works great but worthless when you don't need it.

Pros: It does do what they say it will do: it splits a single DVI signal into two identical VGA signals.

Cons: The image on both screens was extremely dark. It seems this splitter doesn't have the right stuff to keep the signal levels up so that you get a nice quality image. Kinda silly to buy a device to mirror a signal when the mirrored signal sucks by a factor of at least 2 (more like 4).

Other Thoughts: I'll keep this around for when I might need it in a pinch, but I doubt I'll use it at all.

Not that it fooled me, but their description of the product would lead people to believe this will fully split the signal into two totally independent monitors. Seems rather misleading at best.

When used with high quality VGA cables (such as Tripp Lite P502-series), the P120-001-2 can support video resolutions up to 2048 x 1536. Pros: Solidly built cable, and does the conversion from DVI to VGA without a hitch to one connected VGA. Good quality image.

Cons: Was unable to use this splitter to split a signal to two different monitors. When plugging two in, only one would work. In short, didn't work as advertised.

Other Thoughts: There was very little description as to how the cable would work, and my purpose was to split a signal between a TV and a monitor (for watching DVR recordings on a TV). But, when plugging in the TV to the splitter, the monitor would not function. Almost as if the signal just isn't strong enough to support two signals. Looks like I am going with another option.

Other Thoughts: I bought this because I thought I would be able to have three monitors in extended desktop mode (I have an Radeon HD 5770 with 2x DVI, 1x HDMI, 1x Display Port) So my plan was to attach the main monitor to one DVI and then split the second DVI to two VGA monitors, an all I got is two desktops in three monitors... 1 desktop in the main monitor and the second desktop mirrored in the other two monitors...
