With the B136-101, you can extend a 1080p (60Hz) signal up to 300 ft. using 24 Awg, Solid Wire UTP cable (Tripp Lite N202-Series) or up to 400 ft. when using Zero-Skew UTP cable (Tripp Lite P524-01K). For maximum distance, you can extend a 480p (60Hz) signal up to 500 ft. when using 24 Awg, Solid Wire UTP cable (Tripp Lite N202-Series) or up to 700 ft. when using Zero-Skew UTP cable (Tripp Lite P524-01K). This kit comes with both the local and remote connection units, allowing you to plug in and get started right away. With no additional cables, external power sources or hardware to install, the B136-101 provides total plug-and-play convenience.

For maximum distance, the B136-101 can extend a 480p (60Hz) resolution up to 700 ft. when using zero-skew cable.

Cons: None Other Thoughts: I needed to bring the component video (3 colors) as well as audio (L&R) from a satellite receiver in the basement up to my bedroom. going through 4 patches and about 300 feet of cat 5 to get to my Sony xbr 46 lcd. video and audio quality is great as if the receiver was next to the tv. 1 out of 1 people found this review helpful. Pros: Plug and play, No external power required. nice and small hides nicely behind the 46" tv hanging on the wall.
This is a kit with both sender and receiver. there is 2 identical units either or can send or receive. The only other thing I needed to provide was the cat 5 point a to point b.

Other Thoughts: I needed to bring the component video (3 colors) as well as audio (L&R) from a satellite receiver in the basement up to my bedroom.
