The female end was not even close to mating up to the male end of the power cable it was supposed to attach to (the cable of a new Dell UPS 2700). Other Thoughts: I wasted a small chunk of $$ for overnight shipping for two of these pieces of junk. Thanks Tripp Lite... Manufacturer Response: I’m sorry that you are not satisfied with your purchase. After reviewing the Dell UPS product page, it is an L5-30P input connection requiring a 30Amp power source. The P044-06I is an L5-20R output – which is used for 20Amp power, not 30Amp. The P044-06I would not work for the Dell product that you purchased it for as they are not compatible.
