DVI Dual Link 45 degree Left Extension Cable Pros: quality merchandise, as expected from tripp lite Cons: when you plug in a monitor, it will detect its plugged in thru the cable via 4 little pins that are around the slot shaped part of the connector. when I go to plug in my vga converter cable, these pins are not present, missing, or have been phased out. So it was useless to me. Other Thoughts: will carry a DVI signal, but the monitor does not detect its plugged in, and windows wont see it either, I have made plenty of GPU dummy plugs for bitcoin mining, so I know exactly what I am doing. Manufacturer Response: Thank you for your review. This cable only supports DVI monitors and will not support VGA monitors. DVI Dual Link 45 degree Left Extension Cable Pros: What can I say ... I needed an angled connector and this is it. It has gold connectors and a very solid feel. The cable is pretty flexible, despite its thickness. It's listed as 45 degrees, but it's really about 95 degrees (just over a right angle) at the left turn. Cons: none, great DVI-D cable, exactly the length I needed. Other Thoughts: Don't be fooled by the DVI-I female end ... the DVI-D male end makes this a digital-only cable. It will NOT convert a digital signal to analog. So even though a DVI-A to VGA adapter will fit on the female end, it won't work.
