Old cable had a ton of noise coming through. This cable has absolutely none. Watching 1080p movies on my old Trinitron tv from my computer. So very excite! Cons: No option for audio. And the connector head looks like it would take a lot of hard pulling to separate it from the cable. Plated gold connector to inhibit residue build up. (I've had that happen twice to my other connectors that are not plated.) Granted that takes a long time to happen. But I want to set the cable and never touch it again. Snug fit. Cons: Well not really a cone but all my other Belkin Pure AV cords and cables are silver. Why is this the only black one? Other Thoughts: I have never had a S-Video connection before, either composite or component. But my satellite box puts out either composite or s-video and I know s-video is better. Sure you can get shorter, but what happens when you need to move around a little and can't? This is a very high-quality cable, rather thick. Cons: It is slightly loose, but that hasn't been a problem on my laptop or tv. The cable fits inside and the picture quality is as good as the tv will produce. Did you find this review helpful?
