Pros: I use hdmi from tv/pc/xbox to the tv. I WAS using an rca to reciever from tv. sounded distorted when I played videos, and low bass. I installed this cable from 55" vizio to reciever and all is clear. had to turn down my sub woofer too.

Cons: 6ft? Well I learned the hard way. It was too short for the job. It is 6ft if you COMPLETELY straighten it out which is a hard task because it wants to coil a little bit. Yeah I know it is my fault no issue with the actual cable or company.

Other Thoughts: Note to self. Over compensate estimated cable length that you need. I was afraid to buy the 12ft because it is a fiber cable so the longer the cable, the more points of failure if bent too much or whatever might happen. Turns out getting too short of a cable is going to cause more bending than if I got the longer cable. I bought this to directly connect my new 1800 dollar computer to my new yamaha receiver to play sound from my pc games and music on my klipsch/yamaha sound system. This does the job very well, I just have to put my case on the floor for it to reach the receiver.
