Other Thoughts: I loved these when I first bought them, however as time passed I realized they are just way to heavy for a regular optical port. Also I couldn't get them into my add-on spdif bracket from my ASUS motherboard because it hit the pc case frame. Very annoying. I mixed these with another type of fiber optic cable and experienced drop outs in digital audio, VERY VERY STRANGE. I took them out completely and now all is well. I am unsure whether to praise this product or look at it's many faults.

Pros: Very nice sound quality.

Pros: They are the best, and although this company stinks with making other stuff like usb hubs they make good cables.

Cons: By this company, they can't even make usb hubs work right!

Other Thoughts: I would buy these again, and I will. Cheap and effective highly competitive pricing and very good. I am mad they can't create hubs that don't short out or cause all kinds of problems for me.

Pros: I love that this is a 12' fiber optic cable. I had a 6' but it just wouldn't reach to my HD TV on a swivel wall bracket. I have had an issue or two with my LG TV not putting out the right digital signal while watching a DVD or BR but I don't blame the cable as you can go to a TV station and it works just fine.

Cons: None so far, great length.

Pros: I've had these cables for 7 months now and haven't had a single problem with them other than video card HDMI sound causing some insane amount of resistance to other sources of audio. I don't understand this, to be honest. But that's not due to the cables!

Cons: What perplexes me is the lack of some sort of securing device, and I'm not sure if it's the cables themselves or the entire standard for Digital Optical audio, but I find it rather obnoxious.
If anything gets knocked around behind my computer there is a high chance the cable will just plop out of the socket which is pathetic.

Pros: Great solid cable. The cable is thick with solid toslink connectors on both ends. Not flimsy at all like some other optical cables.

Cons: none. I want to think the price is too high, but I just don't like paying money for most things. Actually a great deal for a 12ft cable.

Other Thoughts: I have a home theater PC setup. Previously, I had been using HDMI to my TV for sound, but also wanted a direct connection to my receiver for audio e.g. music. I had originally just run long RCA cables off the speakers jack. However, the sound had a lot of interference from being next to electrical wires and various boxes. I bought this cable to fix that. As expected the optical cable gives perfect sound with no interference.

Pros: It worked as expected, the connector protects the delicate fiber well, even the big, gray, stress relieving boot it made of dense silicone-like plastic so it's flexible if needed.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I had to replace a cheaper optical cable for my sound system after i snapped the fiber tip. Stupid mistake, but in all fairness, that cable has lasted me about 6 years, and 5 moves! Belkin makes some quality cables for pretty much everything, this was no exception! An added plus is the 12' length, i am developing my home theater system into a rack mount soon, so having some sliding room on the optical cable means i may get away with putting rails on my amp allowing me easy access to the rear hookups.

Did i mention that Worst Buy wanted $70 for a 6' Monster? I know some folks in that retail market, and it's not uncommon for a 400% markup in the AV accessories since they know people bought the brand new TV and 7.1 sound system, they still have to hook it up!

Cons: Connector on one end is slightly malformed and hence does not "snap" into one of my components as it should so minus one egg for that.

Other Thoughts: I would buy again because Belkin has a good reputation.
