1 out of 5 eggsThe Cable SUCK,SUCK,SUCK

Pros: GARBAGE, DONT BUY, save your money People

Cons: These cables are not worth anything, they slip out, they break, they don't read the drive at all, I had a hard time installing OS, I bought this for 1 of my customers, becausse he wanted them, to replace the ones that came with the mobo.

Other Thoughts: They are a waste of money, not good at all

1 out of 5 eggsgarbage cables- waste of $$

Pros: 1 out of 3 worked

Cons: these cables suck. I had bought 4 of these type (one of them with 2 strait plugs) and they caused nothing but problems in a build using all new components. The plugs are too big and they are sloppy in the socket. The drives they were hooked to would randomly fail to be recognised. Really made trying to install the OS fun. I kept getting hardware falure errors and was thinking Oh noes! but no, hardware is fine. these cables ar junk. 2 outof 3 were FAIL.

Other Thoughts: Buy some other brand. to bad because I liked thelengh ad color but cannot reccomend these to anyone.

3 out of 5 eggsNot for me :(

Pros: This thing does exactly what it was intended to. Easy hook up.

Cons: The 90 degree angles don't work for me. With the way my HDD is mounted in my case, the 90 pointed the cable directly at the side wall of the case resulting in the connection being pressed and stressed. This did not hinder information transfer but it did leave me worried about the continued integrity of the connections on both cable and HDD.

Other Thoughts: Was given an extra cable by a friend that is straight with no angles....works great

5 out of 5 eggsDoes the Job

Pros: I used this cable for my Western Digital 640GB hard drive. The cable snapped on both ends and I did noticed a bit more speed compared to the other cables I was using. I have always bought this brand of cables and I will continue to buy them. Another good product by a good company. Thanks.

Cons: None at this time.

4 out of 5 eggsDoes the job...

Pros: Well, it's SATA, it connected my hard drive, it's long enough and color's neat if you're one of those "I love showing off my PC's insides." guys, which I'm not.

Cons: The cable doesn't really do what I bought it for. I have a gigantic video card and it's covering completely 2 of SATA pots and blocks the other two enough that I can't use a straight SATA cable. Someone told me they sold these 90 degree cables, so I bought a couple for now and the future if I will need one.

The connector is actually just as tall at 90 degree angle as a straight one...so no height difference whatsoever. I wasn't about to pull out my video card and say "darn" so...I took a razor blade and shaved the top of the connector down to there the video card fit in just fine.

I'm sure that's not the greatest solution, but this wire had plenty of plastic on top of the connector piece so shaving it down does allow for extra room.

Other Thoughts: I'm happy with the purchase...I think my modification doesn't really compromise the cable's durability as I've got plenty of ventilation, so heating isn't a problem...I think it will be just fine.

Bought a couple more of these today.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Sata Cable.

Pros: Works exactly the way it should.

Cons: A little too short for a clean Mid-Tower interior.

Other Thoughts: The cable is unusually stiff, insulating UV rubber is of poor quality.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat for some

Pros: Look great -not as flimsy as I expected due to some reviews -just the right length for my application, but might be a bit short for some -the metal clip is delicate -but anything that small has to be... just don't use excessive force... keeps it in place just fine.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: As others have stated... If your SATA connections point out from the side of the motherboard, the right angle connector will point the cable back toward the side of the case on which the MB is mounted -which is OK if you have a case like the 900 "deux" (which I fortunately do)-which has a space back there for cable routing. Otherwise -go with the straight/right angle combo.

4 out of 5 eggsBe carefull

Pros: Short, Blue, works.

Cons: I bought a MSI 785G motherboard that i was hoping to use these cables on. The sata connectors on the board are horizontal as opposed to vertical. However, the 90 degree orientation on these connectors faces the wrong way, making the cables point down, instead of up like i was hoping.

3 out of 5 eggsMake sure you have room for the 90 degree!

Pros: Perfect size for small cases, high quality clasps, pretty blue color. 90 degree angle great for some applications.

Cons: 90 degree angle poor for other applications...

I got it because I figured it would work nicely on the motherboard, however the way the motherboard ended up being laid out, the PCI slot prevented it from being plugged in without blocking the 2nd SATA port.

Other Thoughts: Just be sure your motherboard has room for the connectors on this cable, otherwise you might be wasting money on a cable you can't use.
