3 out of 5 eggsWas expecting at least the lengh specified

Pros: Cable seems to be made well as well as the metal clips for port attachment.

These came closer to meeting said length our of all my OKGEAR order selection but still short but not as bad as the other colors.

Almost failed to give Cudos to NE - Great shipping and service for me for 12+ years, not their fault a company runs a little short on their measurement standards at least on %50 of my 24" cable orders. Good cables so far, yep.. On the short side, yup !...

Cons: According to the International Bureau of Weights and Measures
a CM about 0.393700787401575 inch (1 inch is equal to 2.54 CM).
If measured from connector to connector you are lacking anywhere from 1/2 in to 3/4 inch or 1.28 - 1.92 cm in length
If measured from wire to wire even less.

Some close to the right length others under it.
QA issue perhaps ?

Other Thoughts: If measured from connector-connector you're lacking anywhere from 1/2" - 3/4" or 1.28-1.92cm in length.

I understand fractions can add up to make additional inventory & profit / per customer.

Here is the question to OkGear marketing & PR.
For benefit of a doubt lets say they only short 54.69 customers 1.28 CM per Sata cable, let's be nice and say 54 customers.
For ever (1) additional sale they make there are 54 customers, who've paid attention, saying they have been shorted with the 55th customer saying "yeah you're right !"

Now if it went the other way, how much would it be worth to have every single customer getting at least what they paid for and possibly more saying to the world that "These guys stick to standards even down to measurement", which would be better for sales,PR &customer ?

I can say that I have measured & that 50% of my orders were less that what the advertised length was for OKGEAR.

Not worth a refund or squabble but worth less than a perfect review.

5 out of 5 eggs90 angle SATA's

Pros: Cheap, right angled and long. Allowed me to thread it properly through my Antec 902. Doesn't give me any speed issues that i have seen reported with these.

Cons: might be a little too long for some other cases that don't have back panel threading.

Other Thoughts: Had a little issue with them being processed 3 days after my drive that i ordered them with arrived but not really an issue with the cables at all

5 out of 5 eggsWorks like it should

Pros: Works with SATA and SATA II drives as expected.

Cons: Shipping cost is more than the product.

Other Thoughts: Should have gone with a right-angled cable, it's a little tight inside the dell optiplexes we've installed these in.

4 out of 5 eggsThis is your SATA cable. There are many like it, but this one is yours

Pros: it's working

Cons: none so far

Other Thoughts: the plugs are at right angles so was tight clearance when connecting to a sata raid card. I had to bend the cable more than I would have liked to get it to clear the other pci card. In hindsight, I should have paid more attention and found some that plug in straight, if such a thing exists.
