4 out of 5 eggsStick Coating

Pros: I needed long cables for a 2U Supermicro case. These cables worked great, they held their shape well, since they have a metal sheathing inside of them, and the clips on the ends worked just like they were suppose to.

Cons: The cables seemed to have a strange sticky coating on them. It was a pain to bunch the cables together. I actually took some soapy water and washed them in order to get the coating off. After a quick wash the "sticky funk" was off and they worked great.

Other Thoughts: Great cables, cheap price, and I absolutely love the metal sheathing inside of the cables to hold a form.

Pros: Decent Quality Cable, No Latch Problems.

Cons: It Wasn't free. :-)

Other Thoughts: Well Let's see here, Went to Best Buy and the had SATA Cables for...Get this, $19.99 for a 24"! Yeah, sorry Not paying that much for a SATA Cable. $3.99 and free shipping from Newegg?
That's a No Brainer. I will wait a few days to receive it and order it on Line from Newegg.
Thanks Newegg!

5 out of 5 eggsno problems

Pros: works perfect. no latch problems when using 2 in adjacent sata ports.

Cons: shipping costs more than cable.

Other Thoughts: this product was instrumental in transporting binary data from my motherboard to my hard disk drive.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Has worked fine with a 500 GB HD used for a media center.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Needed a long run of SATA cable to install a second HD in a Dell E510. The cable management in the case required this length and none of the local stores had anything close.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat cables

Pros: Silver.
Longer than the cables that came with my motherboard.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Bought them for use in my Silverstone TJ-09BW case, they are long enough to route from the MB thru the back of the hard drive cages to the plugs on the Hard drives and still have some slack.

5 out of 5 eggsLoong cable is Loong

Pros: Long enough to reach the far corners of my case.
Very affordable.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: As long as you handle this like cables should be handled there is no reason to fear breakage.

5 out of 5 eggsNice and Long

Pros: Long enough to go from the MB to a remote drive enclosure. Positive locking clips.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: No interference from other devices and electrical cords running near this cord outside the case. Shielding works good!

1 out of 5 eggsDeath to Hard drives

Pros: Metal latch

Cons: This cable made two of my hard drives go meet their makers. The first one had a loud pop noise, it was brand new and I'm in afghanistan, so I thought it was just an explosion outside and the drive was DOA. So after thinking this brand new drive was DOA I try the cable on another HD and $%^* this one went up in smoke. In short I'm sure I got a out of the norm cable but it sure did kill my hard drives regardless. Where the QA at this company?

Other Thoughts: Of course every time I changed the cable out I removed power from the system, the pop and smoke came during Post. That 2nd hard drive it killed had all my movies and Anime that was supposed to entertain me for the rest of my year in Afghanistan.
