5 out of 5 eggsRegular SATA Cable

Pros: Work as promised.
Havent fail for 3 years by now.

Cons: If theres any con for cables, that should be the consumers fault for picking wrong cable.
Unless its DOA.

5 out of 5 eggsIt works.

Pros: It works and it looks good. Perfect for anyone who is serious about their cable management.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I find that these straight cables are better choise for cable management than the 90 degree versions.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Very good price. Has respectable transfer rate. What more can you ask for?

Cons: The latches are not always firmly connected so make sure you inspect them BEFORE you plug them in or you could have problems. When I tried plugging it into my Mobo the metal latch popped off (it wasn't even attached) and the darn thing landed in my case. It took me over 20 minutes to find it..... I was able to clip it back onto the cable though.

Other Thoughts: Make sure you bundle this with other items because the shipping is too high for one cable. Besides, you can never have too many extra cables right?........

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect Short Cable

Pros: I got 2 of these cables for a new build and only needed a short cable from my dvd drives to MB.
These fit great and don't bind.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Another review said something about not being able to fit the cables on top of each other. I had no trouble at all stacking them on top of each other on the MB connectors.

1 out of 5 eggsAvoid

Pros: Looks pretty.

Cons: Connectors do not meet specification. To big in all dimensions. Can't fit 2 right next to each other. Locks are not part of SATA spec either. The metal locks actually broke the plastic connector on one of my drives, and bent the connector on the motherboard. The shielding looks like it is cracked inside. Only foil, no braid.

Other Thoughts: I don't get it. OKGEAR makes a set of SATA cables that are great. The round ones. They have standard connectors, and double shield (braid and foil). These ones just don't cut it.

1 out of 5 eggsThis cable is junk

Pros: Can't think of any!

Cons: Removed the cable from the drive once and the connector at the end of the cable fell off.

Other Thoughts: Spend a little more money and get a better quality cable.

1 out of 5 eggsdon't meet SATA spec, can't possibly work

Pros: Looks cool, seem to be well shielded.

Cons: This cable can't possibly work in most cases. The connector housing is about 2mm too wide to meet SATA spec, so you can't plug two of them in side-by-side in the ports on the motherboard. Also, it is IMPOSSIBLE to plug in a SATA power connector right next to this because the SATA connector is too wide. I bought 5 of these and now I've gotta throw them all out.

Other Thoughts: How has anyone else here been able to use these? The only possibility is that everyone who has ever used this thing has used a single hard drive with a molex power connector.
