5 out of 5 eggsGood cables

Pros: Just what i needed to round out my cable management. Good quality and nice and long for big cases.

Cons: People are stupid and can't read product descriptions nor use their eyes to look at product pictures.

Other Thoughts: I can't seem to wrap my head around other reviewers and the whole buyer remorse/impulse buying where they are not happy with it becuase they failed to slow down and think. Make sure you want 2 right angles - DUH! Make sure you dang motherboard can accomidate these in nicely - DER!

I only use these on 2 of 8 SATA slots becuase:
1. If used on the top slot it will block the bottom one
2. The other 2 bottom SATA slots are too far from the grommet hole.

4 out of 5 eggsShould have looked at both ends

Pros: Nice retaining locks for the drive, plenty of length if it goes into big case, or if you make habitual upgrades and your not sure of the distance *cough*

Cons: This con is my fault for not paying it much attention, but I thought it was 180 degree on one end and 90 degree on another, this make it a bit hard if your cables need to span out from your drives or span out from your controller.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat!

Pros: I wish I would have noticed these were 90degree on both sides. I only needed 90degree in one side, thankfully with my rig as is it doens't interfear with anything.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Great Great, price, free shipping!! Retail eat your heart out.

5 out of 5 eggsIt's a cable.

Pros: Connects my SATA drive well. Uses aluminum for it's retaining clip. (Aluminum becomes brittle with rapid temperature changes, so best to let your system cool down before upgrading your peripherals if you're in a cold winter living room.)

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Does the job.

2 out of 5 eggsNot that geart

Pros: They are nice cables and lock into place. Tons of extra length.

Cons: They are not for boards with ports that stack. Really made for external use not internal.

Other Thoughts: Wish they had a better image of the L connecter. Thought they were stragith but both ends are Ls. Makes it a real pain to connect 4 deviced (If you can)

2 out of 5 eggsQuestion on Quality..

Pros: Seems okay when it did work

Cons: The rest of the time, I either get REALLY long loading times from the minute after bios loaded and also right before I go into WinXP OR.. my system just wouldn't recognize the drive using these cables. With the long load time, I have narrow down to the drive with this cable. I have to further investigate whether its my HD (seagate 7200.10, 500gig) or this cable. But I got a feeling its the cable. Then when its time that it doesn't recognize the drive, it drives me nuts. These events happens randomly...

Other Thoughts: I want to ask you CAD-man. If you had similar experience or if you can further elaborate on the poor quality you are noticing, are u refering just to the switch or the cable itself. Thx.

1 out of 5 eggsExtremely Poor Quality

Pros: Nothing

Cons: I have worked in the electronic and high tech industry for over 30 years and I have never seen a factory made cable of such poor quality. The connectors on each end literally fell apart in my hand as I was installing it both on the Motherboard and on the HDD I have made the connectors work for now, but I will have to replace the full cable in the future. I think Newegg should forgo the cost savings for the customer and find a different vendor for their SATA cables. There seems to be an awful high percentage of customers that have been dissatisfied with cables manufactured by OKGEAR. I would say that makes them not “OK”gear!!
