1 out of 5 eggspoor quality

Pros: look good, but I replaced them within a month

Cons: no locking mechanism, loose fit, straight-end will not fit next to sata power connector-

Other Thoughts: SATA I = 1.5 Gb/s
SATA II = 3 Gb/s

3 out of 5 eggsSATA II

Pros: Haven't bought yet

Cons: Haven't bought yet

Other Thoughts: The reason for this review was to the person below me that said it was "SATA 3 NOT SATA 6"

Don't let him/her confuse you. These are SATA II cables at 6 Gbps.

1 out of 5 eggsDO NOT BUY

Pros: cheap. round.

Cons: id give it a zero rating if it were possible. just flat out not worth the risk. i have purchased 4 of these cables... THREE could not move info and would not show the device (any device... not matter what i put it on). the last one actually shows the hdd in bios, but the moment you attempt to move data or format... the drive drops. ive tested all of the components... everything works great. the cables were the issue.

Other Thoughts: save yourself a lot of headache, and buy anything else. i just decided to go with the included asus sata cables, and they are working fine. maybe i just got a bad batch... but its still frustrating. not worth the headache. thankfully im only out a few dollars.

2 out of 5 eggsStick to the basics..

Pros: The cables look good and work when they stay connected.

Cons: These cables have extra rubber around the connectors which make them difficult to seat when your SATA connectors are close together. Also, despite the locking mechanism on them, they don't lock and can slip out.

Other Thoughts: I definitely wouldn't recommend these for a LAN party system or any other PC you move often.

2 out of 5 eggsPoor quality control

Pros: It is working.

Cons: Common, is just a cable and does not meet the standard length. Bought 2 at the same time and one is 17" and the other 18.5". Not a good deal.

2 out of 5 eggsOKCable = OKGear

Pros: OK cable equals the name OKGEAR. They look nice and have several connection angle options to choose from.

Minus 2 eggs for the metal clips not working. The main reason why I bought them. Minus 1 egg for (NO, NADA) Customer Service.

If they were an Excellent cable/company then maybe their name would be: EXGEAR or XGEAR?

Cons: This is my second set of OKGEAR cables and the metal clips are poor quality. The metal clips work once maybe twice and then they just fall out and that means you will get 0% data transfer.

So, in that reality shouldn't they be free.

Other Thoughts: I have OEM cables that don't fall out and stay in. The Cost Vs Performance Vs Reliability, in my opinion, is not worth the extra money spent on these cables. Save your money and wait for a better cable with metal clips.

If you are one of the people who bought these cables then you know what I mean. A Dab (a 1/4 grain of rice) of Gorilla Glue will keep them in place.

If OKGEAR would address the issues and respond to the reviews, emails and phone calls, then maybe they could save a few customers. The sad thing is. They won't.

OKGEAR provide me with quality cables and I will update my review.
