1 out of 5 eggsNot good

Pros: No latches. Looks as expected.

Cons: Received a bad cable but it's too cheap to return. Looks and feels like poor quality. Swapped cables and the device now works.

Other Thoughts: Pick a different cable.

4 out of 5 eggs18" probably not as long as you think

Pros: Exactly what it says it is. Connector ends aren't bulky.

Cons: not the tightest fitting of connectors

Other Thoughts: 18" was a bit shorter than I was thinking, but that's my fault. As SATA cables go these are cheap and do what they're supposed to!

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: They work great. Light up very vibrantly in my Lanboy when near a UV light, and even show a glow at a distance. Color matches my blue LED lights pretty closely.

Cons: No clips on them. Kind of a pro/con - they're easy to remove, but I'm paranoid about them coming loose.

5 out of 5 eggs6Gb/s SATA cable review

Pros: Easy to install, locks tight, but not impossible to remove, looks clean when applied correctly with cable management.

Cons: None that I can think of

Other Thoughts: Using these cables on a home server build, attached to two Seagate 500GB 7200 6Gb/s HDD's in Raid 1. What little of this cable you CAN see, it looks clean and slick. Round cabling made it much easier to manage and zip-tie where necessary

2 out of 5 eggsJust OK

Pros: They look cool.. However

Cons: I broke the SATA bracket on one end of the cable trying to connect it to a removable drive bay, the SATA and power plugs are close together (apparently) and when push came to shove the SATA bracket lost. The generic SATA cable that came with the motherboard fit without any problems. So my guess is that this bracket is slighter above average in width.

5 out of 5 eggsUV effect is fantastic

Pros: The UV effect is MUCH brighter than OKGear's IDE UV reactive round cables. I wish that the few IDE cables that I have left glowed this bright. Very Pretty!!

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: none

4 out of 5 eggsWorks as advertised

Pros: 90 degree angle nice for cases where spacing or cable management is an issue. Rounded cable is nice for areas where cables cannot be hid from path of airflow.

Cons: no locking clips, be sure to double check connections are tight as cables can slip off when moving equipment I had one cable get loose while putting a HD cage back in the case.

Other Thoughts: Be careful not to push connections too hard as sata connectors are easily breakable...I've broken 2 connectors on HDDs. Also make sure the cable has no tension as it can break the connector or fall off the device
