5 out of 5 eggsSame thing that came with my EVGA mobo

Pros: They work
They are round instead of flat
They have latches
They are black so they blend well inside most PC cases made today

Cons: None, except for the fact that SATA cables have never changed but yet they insist on calling these "SATA 3.0" like it makes some kind of difference. Different SATA cable standards only exist for the marketing department.

Other Thoughts: These are the same cables that came with my EVGA P67 F.T.W. (periods there for Newegg filter) motherboard. Good thing too because I didn't order the amount I thought I had (bought 2 instead of 4) and was pleasantly surprised when I realized I didn't actually need to order two more to match.

1 out of 5 eggsNOT GOOD

Pros: None

Cons: For starters, very poor build quality. One end completely came apart and I had to re-align all of the pins and glue it back together. It seemed fine after that and thought all was good. I have noticed though lately that the other end is now starting to come unglued.

The main reason for the low rating is I have been having issues w/my system and finally traced it down to the cable. I kept having issues with my pcie card recognizing my SSD, thinking I had bought a bad card. Finally, I got around to re-aranging all of my drives and put the blu-ray drive on the card which worked at first and the same thing happened again. I finally clued in to the fact that it could be the cable instead of the card. Went down to the local computer store and picked up a new cable and have had no issues since.

Comparing this cable to the one I just bought there is also a significant difference in the mechanical connection. This junky cable has narrow pins resulting in less contact surface area.

Other Thoughts: Waste of money!

3 out of 5 eggsok cable

Pros: round cable is very easy to route inside case

Cons: Should have paid more attention to the ends. The transition between plug and cable is too big. It is a very tight fit if you have stacked SATA ports.

Other Thoughts: Definatley consider a different cable if your ports are stacked.

5 out of 5 eggslove the rounded cables

Pros: rounded cable
metal snaps
black

Cons: was a little shorter than i expected however that was a mistake on my part lol. still fits in my case however (nzxt tempest evo) from the top dvd drive to the mb (msi 890fxa-gd70)

Other Thoughts: wish i would have gotten one with a 90 in it but im happy with what i got, cant beat the price for sata 3/6 with the more easily maneuvered rounded cable

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It is what it is. A SATA III cable that performs as such.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Be careful that you have room for straight to straight. I was lucky and it worked out for me, but I could see where it could very easily have not. So just be mindful of how much room you have. Otherwise a right-angle cable might be more appropriate.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Cable

Pros: Works excellent, nice to have metal cilps very secure snaps into mobo & hd with no problems

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: It's too bad all SATA 1,2 & 3 cables are not round like this one, much easier to move around.

4 out of 5 eggsSata Cable

Pros: Very nice to see the metal latches it makes it very reliable and easy to use.

Cons: It would be nice to see one end at a 90 degree angle. With a 90 degree angle it would be a lot easier to make your work look more organized.

Other Thoughts: Works great no problems at all I would definitely recommend this purchase the only thing I would like to see done to it is maybe a right angle added in as an option.
