2 out of 5 eggscaution

Pros: price

Cons: All 4 wires are shared. Had to cut a wire. You get strange results when you combine tachometer signals.

5 out of 5 eggsGood

Pros: Dual purpose.... extends case/cpu cable length for better management and also lets you power two fans from one motherboard fan header.

Cons: none.

Other Thoughts: I am running two of these in my Antec case, one for PWM case fans (120mm) and the other for a push/pull configuration on my Hyper 212+. I only had two PWM headers on the motherboard and wanted better cooling in my case and have achieved that with these y-cables. Good price and good product, worth the cost for what it adds to the case.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great

Pros: Works as advertised

Cons: Sometimes gives double the fan reading but thats is easily divisible. I could cut the wire if i needed to but it works fine.

Other Thoughts: get this dont let the bad review phase you.
i bought two just to be safe and the first one worked so i didnt even bother trying the second. I got a spare i guess haha.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Cables!

Pros: Picked up (3) of these cables to hook up all my fans into my case, everything worked great!

Yes please may complain about the different color cables showing but that's what those shrinkable sleeves are for!

Great price though, need to get two more :)

Cons: None ATM.

3 out of 5 eggsCheap

Pros: Cheap
Works - after you modify it

Cons: Connects tach output from both fans. That is simply wrong and may confuse your motherboard.
You *have* to cut the PWM signal (pin 3) from one fan. Pin 1 is marked on the connectors.
Wrong cable colors - yes there is a spec. If the cable colors were correct you could identify which cable to cut by color. But as it is you probably can't rely on the colors at all.

5 out of 5 eggsWell

Pros: Connected two PWM fans to one PWM header

Cons: Had to take open my case.

Other Thoughts: Works as stated. No cable sheathing but not a big deal.

5 out of 5 eggsBasic, but it works!

Pros: It works.
Its basic and simple.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: If you have a case with no window, then this will work for you. If you want a sleaved version for your case with a window, they are available for slightly more money.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Usually works OK

Cons: Sometimes one or both of the fans would stop spinning. Wiggling the connector made the problem get better (or sometimes worse!) Plugging in a fan directly works OK. It looks like there is a bad connection at the motherboard connector.

Other Thoughts: A few months back my computer turned off from the CPU overheating - neither fan was spinning. After paying attention to the fans after that, it looks like one of the fans would stop spinning occasionally, then start back up after a few hours. When both fans stopped spinning AND I was running a CPU-intensive program the computer would turn off.

Gave it 2 eggs instead of 1 since it only completely failed twice over the year I've had it.
