5 out of 5 eggsDoes The Job Well.

Pros: Keyboard was available at boot time to access bios, Windows 7 configured new keyboard and mouse without a problem.

Cons: Not free.

Other Thoughts: Tested with a simple two port KVM and also an eight port KVM.

Will buy more.

1 out of 5 eggsKeyboard doesn't work

Pros: Not many, the mouse works.....sort of. It lags and its choppy in its movements.

Cons: KEYBOARD DOES NOT WORK. Keyboard is fine, but the connection between the keyboard and the computer does not exist. Maybe this could be a flaw in the wire, but form the looks of it, many other people are having problems with the keyboard too.

1 out of 5 eggsJunk

Pros: Cheap, easy to install, works during POST.

Cons: Im using these on Dell machines and a KVM. The mouse works flawlessly but the keyboard is another story. It keeps typing things on it's own, gets lost, sometimes appears as though ALT is being held down. It just doesn't work at all.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks as intended

Pros: Does what it needs to do, can't complain.

Cons: none so far.

Other Thoughts: Cord could have been a bit longer but hey, for the price it's a great buy.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: plug it in and it works; Win, Linux, etc.

Cons: quote from another user "When I am doing anything, resets both the keyboard and mouse frequently for about a second. Then they come back on. It gets very annoying whether you are typing a paper, or playing a game."

He is absolutely correct; at first I thought it was the kvm switch. nope its the adapter and it gets worse as time goes on

Other Thoughts: I just got a different one and that one dosen't cut out or anything; still on same kvm switch -- this is my first review on newegg (after 5 years of shopping) and I felt that ppl need to know this...

5 out of 5 eggsGreat adapter

Comments: This adapter works exactly like it should. Installation was simple--no special drivers or configuration were required, neither in Windows nor Linux.

4 out of 5 eggsUpdate to prior review

Comments: I wrote a prior review stating that the keyboard kept resetting when using this adapter. after installing the latest VIA service pack on the machine I tried the adapter and keyboard combination again. The keyboard has reset a couple times in three days of use. One time I was reaching for the adapter so I may have static zapped it. I am much happier with it, though.
