3 out of 5 eggsOrdered 2 - One works, one does NOT

Pros: One works.

Cons: One does NOT work.

Other Thoughts: Costs more to return and replace the bad one, than it does to hang it on the wall as a stark reminder of my personal disgrace and utter failure in the free market place.. {now looking at wall and genuflecting}.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks with KVM

Pros: I recently built a new system and was surprised that the MB had only one PS/2 connector, so would not work with my KVM switch. I had read that some adapters would not work with KVM, probably because the KVM gets its power from the kbd connection. This works beautifully!

Cons: none

3 out of 5 eggsWorks ok-ish

Pros: Tested on an HP DL360 G7 server. Worked fine with a BELKIN OmniView E F1DB104P KVM Switch http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817103307 4-port PS/2 and VGA KVM.

Cons: Tested on an HP DL360 G7 server. Did not work with a TRIPP LITE B040-016-19 16 Port NetController 19" VGA Console KVM Switch http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817404053

Other Thoughts: Got a new server and, unlike the older HPs we have, it did not have any PS/2 ports so our existing KVM wouldn't work with it. Bought this product and 2 others in the hopes of finding one that would work with our server room KVM. Unfortunately, this did not.

1 out of 5 eggsdoesn't work

Pros: none

Cons: It doesn't work at all.
I have tried this with several different mouse and keyboard combinations, together and separately, with several different operating systems from Windows 98 to Windows 7, OSX, and Linux. It does not work.

Other Thoughts: I may have bought a functioning Sabrent product in the past, but I definitely will look for a different brand in the future.

4 out of 5 eggsIt Works

Pros: Works like it should.
I didn't need to install any special drivers.

Cons: Made in China :/

Other Thoughts: My wireless keyboard connector broke, so this was a "keyboard replacement" since i had a bunch of PS/2 boards laying around.. But my server has no USB ports.

5 out of 5 eggsWorth a try

Pros: I'm sure it worked for someone.

Cons: It never worked for me. However the computer I was trying to use it on was an older p3 800mhz with pc100 and windows xp. I cannot really blame the manufacturer for incompatability with a older machine.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks well - no problems

Pros: Cheap, easy installation

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: Like most products reviewed on Newegg, the people with a higher tech understanding are the ones to listen to. My older XP computer has Legacy support enabled and installed this item in just a few moments.
