Pros: Works for me. Win7 driver installed on both 32 bit and 64 bit versions of the OS.
I use this to monitor and capture video from a composite color video camera.

Cons: None, wasn't free.

Other Thoughts: I use this device to send Weather Cam video to web sites.
Does everything I need with my weather software.
I don't use the supplied DVD/Video programs that are supplied on the DVD.
Two different programs and the control panel finds the device without a problem.

Pros: Very easy and quick to install, compatible with Microsoft Essentials Movie Maker 2011 (Web Cam input)

Cons: 1. Up to 720x480 quality video (not HD).
2. When used with Movie Maker Web Cam, the video is wavy, however comes out ok after burning dvd.
3. Movie Maker does not allow to control aspect ratio.
4. Movie Maker Web Cam input cuts off at 60 min, which is an annoyance, but can work around.

Other Thoughts: I could swear it was originally advertised as HD video, and was quite disappointed the video output is no better than DTV box quality, which means a 1920x1080 video is reduced in size to 728x480.

The Con is more against Movie Maker than the USB-AVCPT. I didn't try the ULead application because I didn't want to risk additional incompatibility issues that other similar apps gave. I suppose I could try it, and the cons might go away, or there might be other cons. I used MM because it was so easy.

Pros: This device looks impressive but I have not yet been able to use it because it continuously tells me that my screen sizes too small.

Cons: I can't really say anything bad about this item because of yet I have not been able to use it so I don't know if it's good or bad.

Cons: Tried number of times to get the software to perform as the literature describes, not one hint of resemble of what the product should do..

Other Thoughts: Above all the $20.00 spent is placed on the bad experience side.
Any thing that has a name of SABRENT, interpret into the English language is AVOID like the plaugue you don't want your worst enemy...

Cons: The driver would not load as instructed. I had to brouse the CD and load driver from the drivers folder. When I installed the device my computer quit working. I rebooted serval times but no luck. I finally unpluged all usbs and stared my computer. The computer worked and I reinstalled all usbs. I got the Usb 2.0 loaded and went to install the video program. The instruction said to open a folder on the DVD that is not there. I broused the DVD and found the serial number and the program loaded. After all this I dedcided to wait the test the device.

Pros: Works for what was bought for. Can capture video from TV or from security system.

Cons: none.

Other Thoughts: I bought this for a CCD infrared camera. I had previously been using it with a WinTv capture box, but it failed. I got the Sabrent working out of the box in about five minutes. I installed just the driver from the CD. I am not going to install any other software so as not to jeopardize it. I am using Yawcam and everything is working flawlessly. Granted, it's only been one day, but I wanted to come here and give it a good review. If it fails I will update
