5 out of 5 eggsVery Well Made

Pros: The sleeves look nice on the wiring, and it fits securely to the motherboard.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I just needed something to extend the reach of the 8-pin power cable for my power supply, and this does the job quite nicely.

5 out of 5 eggsWhy you may need this

Pros: If you have a tower case with a bottom mounted power supply this cable extends the 12 volt motherboard CPU power connector by about a foot.

Most tower cases have a top mounted power supply and easily reaches the connector which is located at the top of the board so they do not need this cable.

My Corsair 400R case is my first bottom mounted tower case and the PSU 12 volt connector (8 pin) would not reach up to the top of my motherboard.

This extender enables me to use my case's excellent cable management system to snake this extender through the back plate and back in to the upper cable slot to my 12 volt MB connector.

This has split 12 volt (2 x 4 pin) connectors at one end making it perfect for older motherboards that have only the 4 pin connector. Most modern motherboards use an 8 pin connector and these two 4 pin connectors plug in side by side to accommodate this. So this makes this cable very versatile.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Plugged it in and it worked. Very good price.

5 out of 5 eggsWorked great

Pros: Works great and looks great. I use it to extend my cpu 8 pin far enough to go behind my motherboard tray on a Fractal Design Arc Midi R2.

Cons: none
