Not well designed
This review is from: RCA PS27010B 4ft. 7 Outlets Surge Protector with Coax Protection
Pros: Coaxial surge protection. Since a surge over my cable line recently wiped out all of my networking equipment, this was mandatory for me.
Cons: The outlets are too close together for anything but the slimmest plugs. Also, they "fixed" the orientation of the outlets to allow "standard" power packs to fit, except that all of the power packs to my equipment are now the "alternate" orientation, meaning they take up two full slots on this strip (whereas they would take up only one slot on a "traditional" strip).
Other Thoughts: Works fine if you only need to plug in two devices, or don't have anything with power packs. [Fortunately] haven't tested out how well the surge protection capability actually works.
