5 out of 5 eggsWorks fine, no problems at all

Pros: Allows me to move my RAID enclosure with eSATA output to any other computer. Has a little yellow light that shows it is powered up and another that shows activity.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Worked fine the first time I used it. I haven't had any problems with it.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great

Pros: Works great with WHS. Using 2 of these with 2 Startech Infosafe 4 bay enclosures.

Cons: None really

Other Thoughts: Not as fast as eSata, but uses usb 2.0 to its fullest potential.

1 out of 5 eggsIf only it worked...

Pros: Compact, does not require additional drivers, conceptually a very cool device!

Cons: Failed repeatedly. Attached drives would spontaneously loose connection. Data transfered to and from an eSATA drive connected through the adapter would often become corrupt. Occasionally, even the file system on the attached drive would be corrupted and require the drive to be reformatted.

Other Thoughts: Its a fantastically small device and is easy to use. If it worked, it would be a great, highly convenient tool!

5 out of 5 eggsIt works well

Pros: I purchased this device directly from Addonics to connect an Addonics SATA 5 drive array through an Addonics port multiplier to my Linux Box. I've been using it for over 6 months with absolutely no issues. Every time I turn on my drive array, Linux automatically sees and mounts 5 individual USB SATA drives. To date, I have not experienced any of the problems mentioned by other users.

Cons: A little pricey, should be a $15-20 item.

Other Thoughts: True plug and play in both Linux and Windows XP.
