fragile flimsy piece of cr@p
- Pros: don't know. it broke on my as i was installing it.
- Cons: As mentioned above. this thing is so flimsy. the connectors for the SATA power and data is so weak and fragile, it fell off as i was installing it on my computer. Also, this thing is over packaged. so much stupid plastic to protect this fragile garbage.
- Pros: None.
- Cons: I hate talking bad about something, but this thing is really a flimsy piece of junk. The SATA connector is way too easy to break off, which is what happened with me. I didn't even get a chance to fire it up and see if it actually functions. I guess I should've tried taping down the connector the moment I noticed how weakly it was attached to the PCB. But really, I shouldn't even have to do that. Syba needs to rethink the design on this one.
Spend a little extra for the other CF-to-SATA adapters available from NewEgg. Or just be aware that the SATA connector on this thing is EXTREMELY weak and will easily come off.
Works great!
- Pros: Bought it to use in a PCH-A110, and it works perfectly. Paired it with an 8GB CF card.
- Cons: It seems a little flimsy, but since it's going into the PCH and not being removed, I think it's fine.
